Listening to the older Rise Against. Dont like it as much as the new stuff.

I got drunk and high for the first time in 3 months last night. Wow it hit me fast. It was like I'd never drank before. Ended up passing out on a table at 5 am, woke up at 9 to the smell of bacon.

And now that I'm almost done making my techno cd, I figured out the perfect opening track. I'm going to make a big 8+ minute video game style song. Mostly Mega-Man-esque, with the whole "mood change" in spots where you would be fighting a boss, etc. Gonna take me a while to do this the way I want to, but I'll definately post it up when I'm done.
I'm not aware of him using any electric pads other than the Roland ones in his e-kit behind him, and that tiny dauz pad he has in between snare + hihat.

Look into Mandala pads though, they're the ones that Danny Carey is using right now, and they're awesome, although, more useful for MIDI sounds, rather than triggering samples.
If all you want to do is trigger samples, get a cheap roland e-drum, or get an old drum, put a mesh head on it, and trigger it, then hook it up to whatever you use for sampling.
not aware??????

Well, i need some help and i dont think this is thread worthy so im asking it here.

I got a DBP like 5 months ago, and it has been great. Its a Pearl 122TW, it had been working fine until a week or so. I have the spring (im not sure if this is what its called) pretty tight. I like it that way, but lately i feel like the pedal is not as usual, it doesnt has the same response, and it feels lighter. My guess is that the spring is getting stretched. Anyone know what can i do with this, since i dont want to tighten it more.

Thanks for any help. :)

The screen is better than our TV, save the occasional problems with high contrast scenes.

Janeway 08-21-2006 08:08 PM

So...I have 13 days and 3 books to read.

All of them combined are about 800 pages.

I figure I can allow 2 days per book, with one day break inbetween. The first day I read the entire book, starting around 1 in the afternoon, and ending around 9 at night, and the second I do the report/project assocciated with it. I get 10 hours of sleep the night before I read, and have a breakfast consisting of meat, eggs, and cereal. For every two hours of reading, I take a 30 minute break, where I'll watch TV or something, and then a 10 minute walk.
Around 3 I'll have tuna and brown rice, and then go back to reading.

I figure if I do that, I'll get atleast a 95 on them and be able to finish before memorial day weekend. =/

MatthewMeredith 08-21-2006 08:16 PM

Rough. Just rough.

I'm going to go play tennis soon :D
