I'm going into first year University, and I have 9 classes each semester...

8 of which are music courses, and then one each semester as a prerequisite for the post-degree Education Program.

I'm going to have two full bachelor degrees in 5.5 years :D

Sunshine 08-20-2006 11:59 PM

Wow, cool.

I'm probably going to be a 6-year-bachelor.

I'm going to go to either Webster or Washington in St. Louis for 2 years, and if everything goes right, transfer into Julliard's acting program.

The only thing is, you have to be in their program for 4 years to get your bachelor's degree.

So I'll have a lovely 6-year-4-year degree, but it'll be worth it 'cause it'll be from Julliard~ <3

MatthewMeredith 08-21-2006 12:02 AM

Yea I've only heard good things from Julliard.

I'm just going to a local University (Malaspina).

Most bachelor degrees are done in 4 years, if I'm not mistaken.

Janeway 08-21-2006 12:36 AM

My head is killing me.

My effing Stargate movie is a dud.
Both parts of it is just a black screen with sound.

Edit: Ugh. I'm going out of my mind because I'm so horny, but it's a weird horny. I'm not physically aroused, I just can't stop thinking about women.
It went from Jerri Ryan, to Carrie Fisher, to Amanda Tapping to Kate Mulgrew and now it's on to Amanda Tapping again. I had lucid dreams last night, too.
Three of them that I remember. =/

We_Love_Lime 08-21-2006 07:24 AM

I had a dream last night, that there was a guy who wore shiny white pants, and a fedora, and he walked around the neighborhood, and if he didn't like you, he took you to his hideout, where he put you in a machine that cut off your hands.

Yeah, bachelors are generally 4 years.

Which is why it'll be a 6-year-4-year degree.

But I don't mind. As far as I'm concerned, a degree from Julliard is way worth it.

lucid dreams are probably the best thing ever. the only problem is it only happens to me in scary dreams where im in trouble and have no way out so i take control, which is not exactly how its supposed to work.

ofDooM 08-21-2006 11:38 AM

Yes.

Gavin is an awesome drummer, and I'd pay that much to just watch him. (And I am :D)

fishbulb 08-21-2006 12:35 PM

Wooh, first real time getting drunk last night. Pretty fun, didn't puke which is always good. Felt fine the whole night and when i woke up today, so i'm pretty happy about that.

And my friend got laid, so that's good, too. But, the chick who he boned is somebody who my brother wants to go out with, so that's bad. We're not going to tell my brother about that. Haha. I'm still feeling it a little bit.

Drum Phil 08-21-2006 12:35 PM

Fishbulb i could make you puke with 3 drinks.

Of the girl? She isn't hot, but she's one of those little cute girls. Loves to drink, which could be bad in excess.

YES, it is worth it. Great band, great drummer, great everything.

I would pay nearly any amount to see them but they never come anywhere even remotely close to where I live :(

Janeway 08-21-2006 01:41 PM

My Zen Vision:M came.

I spent 2.5 hours mowing the lawn while it was charging and it's still only halfway there. Why the hell can't they just include the damn wall charger?

What kit your getting.

And futuro, nice to hear it got fixed up. Did it cost anything in the end?

Ahhh, thank god, or the british government for the NHS!

Janeway 08-21-2006 02:40 PM

Wow.I'm in a really bad mood.

I tried to show my mother the effing $300 mp3 player she bought me and she was all crotchity about it. Then my dad won't leave me the hell alone. He keeps standing right behind me and watching what I do as if something magnificent is going to happen while I'm installing software.

He isn't touching the damn thing. His hands are going to get it all nasty, and he'll never be able to grasp the fricken' touch pad. It took me like 5 minutes to figure out that you use the touch pad to select, which is asinine.

Futuro 08-21-2006 02:42 PM
And futuro, nice to hear it got fixed up. Did it cost anything in the end?
Yeah, alot.

ofDooM 08-21-2006 03:01 PM

so now, i dont hate my drumset that much anymore.

spent freaking hours upon hours tuning. im also putting my ludwig kit back in the cases, which sucks.

EDIT: oh, were getting flooded with ludwigs too.

trysthedrummer 08-21-2006 03:08 PM
anyone think a Porcupine Tree show for $23 is worth it? i haven't heard much of them but I like what I have heard.
Hells bells yes. I'm seeing then at Manchester uni 30th Sept, not too far away, and that's £16.50, so about same price. I've heard they aren't as good live as their recordings.

Expect Futile and Mother and Child Divded on their next album soon. And their first dvd is out October.

Yippee :D
