Yeah, the review site is a fucking joke. i like to write and all but i don't want to be a part of that community.

mx is superior. i prefer the old, disillusioned regulars with actual taste in good music that cut through the bullshit (mostly) to the pretentious upstarts on the review site. not because they're new, but because i can't relate to them. they have terrible taste in music and their community is try hard and bland.

even if i don't like all of the music people listen to in rnm most of it i can at least understand and respect. there are exceptions of course but i'd rather come to a place where people who listen to pretentious indie pop are called out for being faggots instead of praised
