I love August Burns Red generic as they may be.
Same with Parkway Drive. I guess I love crappy music. Oh well. *goes off to listen to White Chapel* |
**** yeah for Whitechapel and **** yeah for Anterior.
I got Kezia the other day, it owns, though I dunno what thread to talk about it in. EDIT: Ok I found the Protest the Hero thread, my bad. Also got the Architects cd, but haven't listened yet. Oh and **** yeah for August Burns Red. |
Fuck ABR.
a7x- always easy
That's not it. Read my description. Nevermind. I found it. It was 10 Years: "Wasteland". |
o thats a cool song. i dont like the video. i feel bad for the little fish that falls out of the tank
a7x is mad annoying.
I need something as depressive as 7 Angels 7 Plagues but without all of the breakdowns, any ideas?
That's not it. Read my description.
Nevermind. I found it. It was 10 Years: "Wasteland".
10 Years is a pretty good band. They're pretty unknown, but the song Wasteland was pretty big. |

Umm...hmm...You And I perhaps? |
Any albums specifically, it's far too broad of a name for SLSK.
You and I is emo, i think
but yeah check out Curtain Falls anyway |
Well I'm sort of looking for metalcore, that's similar in sound to 7A7P, with the acoustic/clean portions and what not, but without the overkill on breakdowns.
So I've never listen to 7A7P before. What's a good album to start with?
Well they only have an EP and a full-length.
Until The Day Breathes And The Shadows Flee is better than Jhazmyne's Lullaby, but both are incredible. |
Ok. Well I'm downloading Jhazmyne's Lullaby right now, so I'll see what all the hypes about.
and i perfer the EP over the full length
Which is the EP?
Nevermind, I figured it out. |

to be honest, they remind me of old Hopesfall. Have you heard Hopesfall first full-length? check it out. I'm not a big fan, but maybe you would like it |
Did Hopesfall used to be metalcore? Because their only album I've heard is their latest one and it definetely isn't metalcore...
i think so but aren't they broke up or under a new name or something?
yeah they did
their latest 2 albums is just modern rock |
All I know is there's a band on Trustkill under the name Hopesfall and they aren't metalcore. Maybe post hardcore, but not metalcore.
if you haven't listened to their early stuff, then stop talking because you don't know what you're talking about
that's them and yeah they went post-hxc i think
Well that's why I was asking if it was the same band that I know of. Don't be so eager to blow up on somebody.

You know, to be completely honest, Hopesfall's atmosphere is actually kind of what I'm looking for. Thanks. |

sorry dude, didn't mean to. I just woke up so im a bit cranky. yeah pretty sure there's only one band named Hopesfall |
sorry dude, didn't mean to. I just woke up so im a bit cranky.
yeah pretty sure there's only one band named Hopesfall
It's cool. No worries. I just wasn't sure because I had heard that there was a band named Hopesfall that played metalcore, and yet the band I had heard by the same name was post, so it didn't make sense that they were the same band. But then again, bands progress... |
yeah they used to be a metalcore band, and then they started to incorporate acoustic/clean passages and **** and they became more and more melodic by each album, and by their 3rd full-length, they became a totally different band. I think that's how their progression goes. Hope that helps
No Wings To Speak Of is their best release tbh.
i have that album(4 tracks right?)
Yeah, it's an incredible EP though.
listening to it now
7A7P are pretty good. I enjoy a lot of their riffs and some of their breakdowns are pretty awesome.
I've been trying to download Jhazmyne's Lullaby but it's taking forever... Anyone got any links?

Just wait for it, it's worth it. Great album. |
Well I'm using a torrent client and it isn't even downloading anything right now. It doesn't have enough seeders...
I used to like Trivium, am I gay?
