The Harry Potter movies are horrible. I haven't even bothered to see the last two, because the first ones sucked.

Heh, this is pretty much true for me. I don't think I've read anything by choice, other than Harry Potter, in at least a couple years.

I used to love reading, but then being forced to read for school kind of put me off of it.

A lot of those words are wasted and extraneous though. Lyrics can be poetry, and you can learn from poetry.

I'm not saying books aren't more effective, just saying lyrics can have an impact too.

I know that, andd it's not like I'm completely against reading, but I just won't sit around and read very often.

I'll take a concert, or a good album, over a book pretty much any day.
