i just wanted to know how one would become a mod? i was considering being one.

A user has to show care for the forum, a sense of maturity and willingness to help others, loyalty, and a fair amount of online time to become a mod. There is no application process; current mods discuss who they feel should be the next moderator when the time comes.

I'm sick of threads getting ruined by people who just flame n00bs. There's not a alot of good threads these days and ruining the little bit we have should be violation of the rules or something. (I'm not saying that was a great thread to begin with BTW) Anyone else agree?

I'll put something in the rules about flaming being allowed to a point. Go overboard, and it's a warning. Second time, it's a ban.
