How old are you guys?
|
im 18, shes 17
i know were young, this is why its sooo stupid, but still its just how i feel. |
ok i feel pretty gay 4 posting here, im not generally like this, and its sad of me to have to tlk to strangers but i'm that desperate. Me and my gf hav been going out 4 a year and a half, (longest most serious relationship i ever had) well last few monthes have been very rocky, weve had fights b4 but we always worked them out, were really good together. like i say last few monthes have been bad and i havent been the best bf in the world to her, so we decided to go on a break. hmm the moral of my story is that we are in love (i think, i've never been in love b4, and neithers she) but it was all getting really heavy so we had to kool it off. i wanted a break because when i leave skool next year we will break up 4 definate because we both have to go to very diffrent places with our lives and we talked about it and decided a long distance relationship really wont b good 4 either of us. wot im trying to say is i kno we need this break but i love her so much i cant bear to think about being apart from her ever...so now i'm screwed, we both wana get back together now but we both realise that we have to take this time out to re evaluate ourselves, im just saying it really hurts inside and i kno i sound like an idiot but i was just desperate to tlk.
excuse the grammer and structure of this writing, its complicated and i just wanted to throw it out there cus im desperate, noones has to answer i just wanted to try and relieve myself. thanks
For future reference, more attention to grammar and spelling will give you more serious responses. Sounds like a difficult situation nonetheless. There are some things you guys should keep in mind as you go forward. For one, you are both still young so if a long distance relationship is too much of a burden, it might not be the right thing for either of you at the moment. Secondly, if you are in fact in love then you guys could probably make it work. It wouldn't be easy, but ultimately worth it. It's better to have loved and been hurt than to never have been loved at all. |
yeah we both can drive so thats not a problem

Okay, here's my lame problem.
I really like this girl in my school but she has a boyfriend. She's been going out with this dude for about three months. They've liked each other for a about half a year and never told anyone until three months ago and **** like that. I've known her for about a year. We're good friends and we talk sometimes but I feel so depressed everytime I see her with him. It's the worst feeling ever. She seems happy with him and I don't wanna ruin it and start ****. I've been told to talk to other girls and stuff but I've tried all of it and it doesn't really help me much. I still think about her a lot. I think that the only thing I could do is just wait. Any suggestions? |

Your best bet is to move on. There are plenty of other girls out there, so don't get hung up on one, as perfect as she may seem for you. If she becomes available sometime then maybe consider her as an option, but in the meantime the best thing you can do is move on. |

It's just really hard for me to do that. There's like no one else for me. |
It probably seems that way at the time, but you will find someone else. It will probably just take some time. It took me a while to find a good match in my girlfriend. Just hang in there.

However, this is a girl you've never been with. Like Eizinger said, look for other girls, and if still you haven't found somebody else and she becomes available, then go for it. But don't just sit back waiting. At least try to get with somebody else. |
I hung out with one of my few friends today, and with a girl who I'm thinking he has a thing for. Lately, I've been trying to be real sociable and stuff, but I tried to be quite and stay to myself today, so I wouldn't show my friend up, because he's a rela quite guy. I'm pretty sure he has a thing for this girl, but of course I could be wrong. He seemed real nervous, barely talked when we were all standing together, and wouldn't really even stand next to her or anything. I tried to get him to talk, but it didn't work. He's not asserting himself at all, and I was trying to lay back so he would, and it never happened. So the girl thinks we're both real quite guys, and she seemed a bit bored, so I feel kind of bad that she didn't have a good time. Maybe I should've just acted normal or something? I'd really like to see him get it straight and all and try to get this girl, but I don't see it happening. ANything I can do to help him? Keep in mind I'm not even 100% sure that he has a thing for her.
|
Ask him if he does before you try anything, and then maybe try and get him to talk more.
|
Yeah, I don't know how to ask. He'll deny it if I just ask straight-out. He's that shy.
|
oic. That sucks.. I don't know how to help people like that :(
|
Yeah, I don't know how to ask. He'll deny it if I just ask straight-out. He's that shy.
You need some sort of way to get it out of him without him knowing that you're getting it out of thim then. How to go about that I'm not quite sure. |
Yeah, lol. I have to know, because of course I'm going to rag on him when I find out for sure, because friends are evil like that, bawhaha.

Ok emecks, I turn to you for help.
A little while back, I was at a show seeing some local bands. Long story short, through some other people, I meet this girl. Amazingly awesome girl, I mean the type of girl who I'm amazed would even talk to a dirtbag like me. Anyway, we exhange email adresses and we talk on MSN. We hit it off. A little while later, I make the move to ask her out. I'm going to be honest, this is the first time I ever asked a girl out (I'm not much of a ladie's man). She said she would, if she didn't have a boyfriend. I don't think too much of it. We still hang out as friends. A while later, we were wandering around town with our other friend. We're at a thrift store, and our friend is talking to a little kid. In the meantime, me and her are sitting on a couch. She leans over and puts her head on my shoulder. I put my arm around her. At this point, I'm practically sweating bullets. I was in love with this girl, as much as I hate saying that. A little while later, we were planning to hang out the next weekend. She said she couldn't make it, but I really needed to talk to her. At the advice of my friend (who told me to grow a pair of balls and tell her) I start talking to her on MSN, which is the last place I wanted to tell her. I told her I loved her. I told her she was the most amazing, smart, beautiful girl I had ever met, and I meant every fucking last word of it. She didn't respond for a while. She told me she was flattered, and she was glad I told her. She said she considers me her best guy friend, but, at the end of the day, she's still with her boyfriend. We said things between us wouldn't be awkward. For a few days, it felt great to get off my chest. Then I started thinking about what I had done. How WOULDN'T it be awkward? How the fuck do you casually sit down and have a cup of coffee or whatever with someone after you've said you're in love with them? I'm just worried I screwed up a perfectly good friendship. I really like this girl, and I don't know what to do. I've been wracking my brains over this. What should I do, emecks?
How old are you guys?
I'm sixteen, seventeen in November. |

But, as long as you're okay with just being friends, for now at least, it shouldnt be too awkward. maybe talk to her about it, but casually, you know, if your walking around or w/e. but then again, i kinda suck at advice, but for some reason, i post here all the time, and always end the post with something like. "just ignore what i said and listen to kimmie" (why do you use font=verdana?) |

It's that obvious, eh....it's probably because I use blue/green background. |

(I was just completly blown out of the water lol, she meant they were going to do it lol, so I was like "yah, nothing that exciting haha" and jsut said my good byes and left lol. |
It doesn't have to be awkward. You may feel a bit awkward around her for a bit, but in the end, if she's still cool with being around you, then everything is good. However, in my past experiences, with other people and not just me, whenever a girl puts her head on her shoulder and allows you to keep your arm around her, she probably feels at least a LITTLE bit of a more than friends attitude towards you, regardless as to whether or not she's single. Now, don't get too excited, she still has a boyfriend, and obviously isn't wanting to leave him. However, there's a chance that something could work out, but there's an equal or higher chance that it won't, at least not right now. |

Dude. That's a hard one. Umm...I'd say you need to tell somebody about the cutting, and then try to end it, but have it to where somebody can maybe keep her from cutting herself. I dunno. Like I said, that's hard. |
i dont wanna hurt her, but i also dont wanna be with her

Yeah, but sometimes something happens and they cut more and more and eventually cut too deep or something like that. |
Kreator2112: How exactly did she tell you she was cutting herself? What were her exact words?
|
Yeah, but sometimes something happens and they cut more and more and eventually cut too deep or something like that.
make her break up with you. and make sure she feels good about herself after doing it. |
