I liked Altars though, it was somewhat of a gateway for me into the different dooms where I had been a total death/black metalhead before. I don't know very much about sunn o)))'s early stuff compared to the later so I can't really give any good input here.

Could you recommend me some funeral doom albums other then ahab? I'm not well versed in the genre yet.

Brave New World was boring
Powerslave has 5 good songs and 3 mediocre ones (the middle 3)
SSOASS is actually my 3rd favorite iron maiden album...but i just made a generalization for the sake of lazinesss

iron maiden are probably the worst band ever no wonder vince likes them brb while i listen to amazing cool music that nobody else listens to im badass

Funeral Doom sucks pretty much, SKEPTICISM - STORMCROWFLEET is the only real funeral doom album.
