exactly. i don't hate you, you're not horrible. the reason people get annoyed by you is because you act like you are really informed about every thing when you're not. for example you trying to argue with me about heroin. i've done a ton of research about drugs (reading books and respectable websites) and have had first hand experience. you act like you knew for a fact that heroin withdrawal was more dangerous than alcohol withdrawal when you clearly know nothing about either. know it all's are annoying. stop being a know it all and you will be more well liked.

this means that you have to be abusing alcohol for a long time before you start having withdrawals. so what if alcohol withdrawals are worse then heroin withdrawals? it takes longer to reach that point AND you most likely begin to have withdrawals from heroin after a few doses (i cant say i know firsthand)

therefore alcohol is better than heroin: only losers use heroin or drink until they require it or they go through withdrawals

many alcoholics get to that point. not all heroin users get to the point of having withdrawals either. i used heroin recreationally for a year. i would use two days in a row maybe every two or three weeks and never had a withdrawal. then i quit opiates all together for about 6 months. it wasn't until a year later that i got addicted to hydrocodone. i only started having phsyical withdrawals after using every single day for 3 months. my withdrawals really aren't that horrible. they're unpleasant but not nearly as bad as you make them sound.

that is completely false that you are physically addicted after a few doses, it takes a while of constant use to get physically addicted.

it's a fact that you have to use regularly for a while to become physically addicted. yes i know from personal experience and i have read about it in the many drug books i have read.

i'm saying that heroin withdrawals are not life threatening. heroin would be safer than alcohol if it was controlled like alcohol is. like i said, almost every danger that is associated with heroin is due to its illegality. if it was pure people wouldn't overdose due to unknown quality. if you could buy it at a store people wouldn't have to associate with criminals. also if it was pure injection would be unnecesarry for the most part. it would also probably be cheaper. the only real problem then would be addiction.

I'm saying that it is less physically harmful to be a heroin addict than it is to be a heavy drinker. Withdrawal from alcohol is more dangerous and the withdrawals are life threatening.
