have a good weekend gice!

_Wrathchild_ 12-14-2006 10:19 PM

Ugh my friend was supposed to have some people over on saturday night because nothing was going on for the weekend, and we were gonna jam and then hang out and stuff, but then he backed out :(. So now there's nothing to do all weekend. So I'll just get some much needed sleep instead. And lots of drumming. I miss my baby.

Maggot Dream 12-14-2006 10:19 PM

I'm doing finals right now, they're a bitch this year. Definitely my hardest year yet.

Only one left though, then I'm out for a month.

TTTSNB 12-14-2006 10:21 PM

I'm writing a story about the Vikings. :D What a cool culture.

_Wrathchild_ 12-14-2006 11:04 PM

I'm part viking . A significant part of my background is Icelandic.

TTTSNB 12-14-2006 11:17 PM

^ excellent, I've been to iceland and it's a killer place.

Corkofski 12-15-2006 01:48 AM
Someone give me an idea for a story that has to have some historical context and be not in a place where I am from.
Civil War.
Always a good place for stories.

So, MARVEL ZOMBIES is pretty much awesome. I've gotten quite the Zombie fix lately, and it's just getting sicker haha

Dead Rising (360, awesome game)
Marvel Zombies (good read, $10 at Amazon!)
The Walking Dead Volume 1 (finally bought it)

I just put The Walking Dead volumes 2 and 3 in my cart on Amazon to buy soon, with the Zombie Survival Guide as well haha

GUITAR HERO 2.
Anyone play?
I'm just moving up to Hard, got the first 2 tiers done with at least 3 stars, up to 5 on some...

Corkofski 12-15-2006 03:14 AM

just got the latest issue of rhythm... i got 2 tho... sorts out one xmas present for a mate....
mike p is guest editor, and i just found this quote, and love it

"You can tell two things about me by looking at my drumset. one is that i dont set it up, and 2 is that i dont pay for it!"

Retarded Chipple 12-15-2006 05:05 AM

The January issue of Rhythm isn't out yet is it?

I'm going off that magazine now though, it seems to be going downhill :(

ofDooM 12-15-2006 07:14 AM
Yeah I have a crapload of history homework, and I've procrastinated it all day and just started doing it now :upset:.
I wish I didn't have the shortest attention span ever.
my attention span is pretty short. I cant pay attention well, and my short term memory is terrible.

I tried calling my friend yesterday, and after I dialed the numbers I completely forgot who I called.

I cant multitask at all. Either Im doing one thing, or Im doing another thing. I cant do both, or I end up doing one anyways.

Evening Y'all.

I had my GCSE ICT mock today. Took me 15 mins.

How has everyone else's day been?

It has been for a while. I mean come on, the Australian magazine 'Drumscene' interviewed Virgil Donati, Mike Mangini, Jim Piesse, and Jeff Hamilton all in the same issue. It's written by Frank Corniola!! Yes, that's Damian Corniola's dad.

Now on the other hand, you have Rhythm magazine. Who have they been interviewing lately? Let's see... Travis Barker, Joey Jordison, Javier Weyler, Taylor Hawkins... How about that playalong they did of Maps by The YeahYeahYeah's? Jesus christ... Horrible.

trysthedrummer 12-15-2006 10:30 AM

I was subscribed to Drummer magazine over here, dunno if I shall continue. Well I never have done.

Little Android Man 12-15-2006 10:32 AM

CasB 12-15-2006 10:50 AM

SparBZ 12-15-2006 11:01 AM

So I'm back -- Home for winter break for 3 weeks. They blocked this page from my LAN cause they thought I wasn't caring about school work.

oliv_da_skinmasher 12-15-2006 12:13 PM
Only do it if she'll play nekkid :p
That would be cool. lol

Jezen 12-15-2006 12:27 PM

Who would care about school work anyway!?

Janeway 12-15-2006 01:23 PM

Why the fuck isn't the plural of turkey spelled 'ies'?

How asinine.

Bonham#1! 12-15-2006 02:17 PM

Well it isn't spellep "ies" because you missed the "turk" part. But anyway yeah it doesnt make sense.

Janeway 12-15-2006 02:19 PM

I spelled it wrong for a project today. =/

I'm watching the Devil's Rejects.

The first few minutes were promising, but now it's kind of lame.

Dave*Grohl 12-15-2006 02:20 PM

yay, my friends turning 18 tomorrow. Were gonna get super drunk. i cant wait

Janeway 12-15-2006 02:24 PM

I wouldn't mind ****ing a fat chick because I am fat.

But part of me wants to lose so much weight that I'm like a rail, so I can walk around singing "Fat Bottom Girls" and bang the living **** out of random fat girls.

the_pure_drummer 12-15-2006 02:25 PM

I bought my mums christmas presents today.....................3 dvd's a card and im still deciding what else to get her???

Any ideas?

Janeway 12-15-2006 02:26 PM

My sister got my mom a piggy bank with two pigs humping.

Get her one of those.

the_pure_drummer 12-15-2006 02:31 PM

Jezen 12-15-2006 02:32 PM
Why the fuck isn't the plural of turkey spelled 'ies'?

I'm not sure.. My brain isn't functioning but something is telling me that the reason is because "Turkey" is the word, rather than a word that means "like a Turk". If the word were "Turk", then i'm quite sure the plural would be "Turkies", and the word that means "like a Turk" would be "Turky" (as opposed to "Turkish" which we use to show that something/someone is of the country, Turkey).
The difference must be the "E" between the "K" and "Y".

Dave*Grohl 12-15-2006 02:33 PM

you make me sick:D

to puredrummmer

Loser 12-15-2006 02:39 PM

plural of turkey = turkeys

the_pure_drummer 12-15-2006 02:40 PM

Lol you have to admit it would be pretty funny though man.................hehe

Janeway 12-15-2006 02:44 PM

The -y is preceeded by a vowel so only an -s is added.

There. I looked it up.

Jezen 12-15-2006 02:48 PM

Ah so I was right. It is the E that makes the difference.

I guess that makes me a nerd.

Josiah 12-15-2006 02:50 PM

Hey BritishBoy, can you play this?
http://www.sputnikmusic.com/forums/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=505687

Janeway 12-15-2006 02:51 PM

More of a masochist.

Grammar is torture.

Win A Rabbit 12-15-2006 03:16 PM

I bought a bunch of new blank tshirts today. I must be doing something right, as I've got 5 people who want me to make them a shirt now. Yay me.

And I went to Value Village to buy some new pants. I found 4 of the best pants I've ever seen, but they were all size 36, and were waaaaayyyyy too big for my 30-32 waist. Even with a belt on, they looked like MC Hammer pants on me.

Jezen 12-15-2006 03:17 PM
Hey BritishBoy, can you play this?
http://www.sputnikmusic.com/forums/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=505687
Can't play it very quickly, but I spent a good ten minutes on it and I can play it all the way through.
I like bars 7 and 8 the most. Nice combinations. Thanks for posting that. :thumb:

White 12-15-2006 03:43 PM
