yeah i don't know if i really advocate the legalization of heroin. honestly, it's very similar to other high grade opiates (fentanyl, oxycontin, dilaudid, morphine) and the only reason it's more addictive is because it metabolizes faster because of the extra two ethyl molecules (diacetylmorphine) so in that way i don't really think it's any worse than oxycontin. heroin could be used for the same medical purposes that other opiates are used for.

like i said, idk if i think it should be legal. All i'm trying to say is: most of the dangers associated with heroin are directly related to it's illegality and that alcohol withdrawals are worse because they can kill you whereas opiate withdrawals are just rather unpleasant

where do i fit into this? we usually have pretty equal arguments. i eventually say "i don't care" not because i think you have bested me but because it gets to the point where we are repeating the same thing back and forth to each other and it's clear neither of us will change our opinion. its fun when both of us are coming up with new points but we're both so stubborn that it just comes to a half and isn't interesting or worth the effort any more. it's not that i can't think of a response, it's that i grow tired of repeating myself in vain.

that said i enjoy our arguments up until the point where we are going back and forth for nothing
