Some. I could never be a tr00 fan because I appreciate production too much. I do enjoy some Emperor, Aggaloch, and Hollenthon though.

Angmar 01-26-2010 02:24 AM

Did you go see Agalloch in Portland?

Good day bros.
Last night, after my last exam I went to drink a few brews in the campus bar, afterwards I went into town to have some more and now I'm sitting here, still wasted. =)

I have to be at my professor's place in a few hours though, to take a look at my philosophy exam, I had an A so I wonder why I wanted to to have another look at the exam, especially considering my state of mind now, haha.
Oh well.

Sup?

gmoneyguy 01-26-2010 02:51 AM

not much dealing with a fit of insomnia

the2stranger 01-26-2010 02:55 AM

That sucks.
I can't sleep in anymore the way I used to.
Which sucks if you go to bed too late and had too much to drink.
I still have a minor alcohol buzz going on.

How come you have insomnia Brian?

gmoneyguy 01-26-2010 02:57 AM

dunno it's been a chronic thing for me. Sometimes I go to bed at a regular time, others times I'm up way to late cause I can't sleep.

saw this guy tonight, so good

the2stranger 01-26-2010 03:03 AM

I'll be so happy when my lectures start again, that always helps to get a regular sleeping pattern.

Tyler:
This guy if jazz-tastic.
I'm not too big on scratching and ****, but he's insane good.

Tyler 01-26-2010 03:07 AM

I was pleasantry surprised, I'd seen videos of him a few years ago but always thought he was primarily a technique, DJ's DJ who did nothing but basically scratch for speed but he was making mixes and hearing/seeing this Canadian white-boy flat out shred on a turn table was pretty amazing.

the2stranger 01-26-2010 03:10 AM

Did he just do remixes or some original music too?
Cause just scratching will get boring quickly, same goes for remixes.

I need to grab some breakfast now.

Tyler 01-26-2010 03:12 AM

well he doesn't have his own songs per se but he has standard mixes. it was to hype the crowd up for GZA (which failed because after Bastid there was like a 45 minute gap of nothing and then some shitty act that was apparently GZA's kid came on and sucked and GZA finally came on like another 30 minutes later)

Aaron 01-26-2010 06:15 AM

8065miles of roadtrippin'.

Idea if fly into Vancouver from Europe, chill there for a bit, then make my way to Seattle where I'll hire a car and start driving. Will head up through Canada and the northern states, and then come down the east coast taking a whole bunch of stops [tempted to head up to Boston]. Then go from Miami to N'awlins and on to Austin for SXSW. Drive from there on to Vegas and then onto LA and fly home.
