I didnt think battery was that bad..i thought sandman was worse.
Metallica played every song great... but I mean the whole forging of an orchestra into a metal band failed in so many of the songs... Like Battery, there was nothing from them apart from the opening of the song.

Yeah but on SA&M there is no bass until the second disc. (On the DVD) And even then it's barely hearable. Course the persons TV I watched it on sucked.

Give me the Burton albums and I'll be fine. Seriously though... I mean, I'm not a huge Burton fan, I really don't know anything about him, but they could have stopped then and I would have been totally satisfied.

But I think the worst part about Metallica though is when they disapeared for a few years in the mid 90's and all of a sudden came back with short hair, goatees, and sticks up their asses.

Yeah i agree, after that they lost all of their 'cool' points and alot of respect.
The fact that after Loaded all the albums turned to total bollocks didnt help either.

It would go for tonnes simply because he played it... But as an instrument, not much because it was pretty screwed by the time he died...

The Ric Cliff used was actually stolen from him AFAIK, so there'd be a job finding it...

Muadip 01-23-2005 03:14 PM

Because I like the shape of them... and Dunc and Coddingtown were talking about eating shroom :)

Left Shoe 01-23-2005 03:19 PM

how do you steal bass

albinoblacksheep 01-23-2005 03:21 PM

shrooms...
collecting them in fall is a mysteriously enjoyable, relaxing and vivid thing to do.
I used to do that with my uncle a few years back, but now he got health problems, so he doesnt really get to do it anymore.

I used to love running around in the woods trying to find them under the trees (especially those ones which puff when they got old), and then id get my pocketknife out in an all jolly manner and cut them.
Then wed bring the bucket ful of ´shrooms back to my auntie and shed cool them.

*swells in past childhood memories*

Napalm, and cheese are involved, i know that much.

fatbandit 01-23-2005 03:23 PM

Hmm, I'm sure I read that his Ric was stolen. In his last interview I think? They mentioned the red Ric, and he said it was stolen. I could be completely wrong, and I'm too lazy to Google it! :thumb:
