countdown?
It was a conundrum (sp?) word/number game that is/was broadcasted on Channel 4 in the UK but we get it here too in Ireland

Anxious 06-26-2005 06:07 PM

Oh its a European thing.

Brain Toad 06-26-2005 06:11 PM

I just got home for the car show. I'm bushed. Got two hours of sleep last night, woke up with a bad stomach ache, but I went the day through dealing with little kids who wanted some toy cars. I'll probably get paid as well.

Jessizzle 06-26-2005 06:12 PM

I went out on my friends boat, it was fun but i got a pretty bad sunburn.

Who's going to make my birthday thread honoring me on July 6th?

Biscuit_box 06-26-2005 06:38 PM

Nick, was the car show any good apart from the lack of sleep and stomach ache?

Brain Toad 06-26-2005 06:43 PM

I saw some nice cars. There was a 64 Ford GT not far from us, man that thing was a beauty. And plenty of my favourite cars, like 64-67 Mustangs, man I love those things. I hope my grandpa gets his 65 fixed up and pretty.

My favourite car show comes up in September. It's called Billetproof and has cars that were built from scratch by guys who keep true to 50s hot rodding, so most have complete custom parts, some are matte (non shiny) finishes and look like true rods. Billet means alumunium parts, so hence the name. They also have a rule against trailer queens, who are the fags who bring their classic cars on trailers instead of driving them. It also brings out the psychobillies, rockabillies, and some skins, intresting people. And really good local bands play. We make good money too.

SactoUnited 06-26-2005 06:52 PM

Is it in Vallejo?

guns_of_brixton 06-26-2005 06:53 PM

I like car shows.

Brain Toad 06-26-2005 06:54 PM
Is it in Vallejo?
It's in Antioch, at the Contra Costa Fairgrounds, but its sponsered by a car club in Vallejo.

SactoUnited 06-26-2005 06:54 PM

Tempting, What day is it on?

Brain Toad 06-26-2005 06:56 PM

September 17th, a Saturday.

Biscuit_box 06-26-2005 06:57 PM

Sounds brillaint Nick. Pity the most 'pimped-out' vehicle here is a tractor with like 35" rims. Plus the only classical cars here are like from '89. Most of the guys here who 'do-up' their cars make them look like cráp. They stick on the most random body kits and spoilers.

guns_of_brixton 06-26-2005 07:40 PM

Learn DK- A Growing Boy Needs his Lunch

guns_of_brixton 06-26-2005 07:45 PM

I don't like that song all that much. In fact its the only one I skip when I listen through Frankenchrist.

Well that sure does suck.

DK - Moon over Marin has some good guitar

By the way sean, are there any good shows in mid-late july in chicago?

Brain Toad 06-26-2005 07:50 PM

Moon Over Marin is fun, but kind of easy. I like Terminal Preppie. Trying to get the right speed on Religious Vomit is kind of challenging, but fun.

I skip Hellnation on Frankenchrist. Moon over Marin is hella fun to play and sing on bass.

Brain Toad 06-26-2005 07:54 PM

I never skip any DK songs.

Forest_Fire 06-26-2005 07:56 PM
