smells like Detroit
Do you like Vancouver Liam? I've been there twice and it seems really nice, it definitely reminds me of Seattle in some ways, been to Victoria more times but that's only because it's a ferry ride away from where I grew up.
I like it, definitely. I live in this little farming community on the outskirts with not much to do, but the thing is, the city is a half-hour bus ride away so it's no real problem. Lots of great bars/shops/beaches, and it's so beautiful in the summer. I'm actually going over to Victoria in February for a few days, should be fun.

RouteOne 01-26-2010 12:33 AM

I like farming communities. They have a nice feel to them.

No idea. Feel free not to believe me about where I'm from if it makes you feel good.

Angmar 01-26-2010 12:34 AM

Victoria is pretty nice, has a lot of cool shops and places to eat, sucks that me and my friends can't go there as often now that you need a passport or enhanced drivers license to go to Canada.

My home town is a pretty major farming community, since the population there is like 5000 you learn to entertain yourself by other means than going to do stuff in town, so now that I'm in the city I've managed to be able to have fun in many ways.

Meatplow 01-26-2010 12:35 AM

Jaundice 01-26-2010 12:35 AM

i'm not sure what a farming community is

is that like that creepy place i lived for like two weeks where there were miles of sugarcane fields every where you look and people go to Walmart to hang out socially

Eh, my parents moved us here when I was about seven because my old neighborhood was going to hell, and this town is a good place to raise young kids, but once you hit teenage years there's not a lot of opportunities for young people. But me and my dad are looking to be out of here in a few months, so I'm looking forward to making a fresh start.

Angmar 01-26-2010 12:38 AM

Man my town had a pretty non existent drug problem, even a sizable minority of people smoked weed, and the only people in high school who drank heavily were hicks and jocks.

Because I'm still trying to figure out some stuff with school and getting a job, and besides if I'm still living with my dad it wouldn't be for long.

I'm not even going to try and deny this, tbh I'm glad we have a bunch of greeners around here, they help preserve the beautiful wildlife that makes this state so wonderful, plus Seattle is always extremely clean for a big city.
