So yeah, my brother's getting a guitar for Christmas. We've been suggesting multiple songs to learn or whatever, and thus far he wants to learn Aces High.

 :p

I'm hoping he gets good. I can model him to how I like.

bottlerocket 12-21-2004 10:53 AM
Where?
If by "where" you mean "where is the snow?"

For me, it's Boston.

Ahh right. The UK is pretty snow free at present.

Spaceman Spiff 12-21-2004 10:56 AM

i just found out that a store near me has some Electro-Harmonix pedals, so that's why i asked.
and i've heard people talk about the pedal on here, so, 2 questions:

1. about how much does a Double Muff cost?
2. should i get one?

Oh, trust me. He loves bass. He won't touch my GT-7 because he says "I don't wanna touch it cuz I'm not good enough." He always asks me to play Too Many Puppies and dude...he's always ****ing humming the harmonics chorus in Wooten's "You Can't Hold No Groove." Always. He always wants me to play it. He loves it.

However, he loves guitar to death. He's also more of a metal person. He wants to play Maiden, Hammerfall, etc etc. I can't wait. :D And no doubt he'll get into Primus either. :D

For a while I put a bunch of songs on a CD for him and he listened to Rime of the Ancient Mariner over...and over...and over...

...and over...and over...and over...and over...

Well, you get the picture.

Then he'd switch to Run to the Hills...

Then back to Rime of the Ancient Mariner. :p
