plaidbassbilly 01-03-2006 05:44 AM

Yeah, Syn TV is pretty cool. Me and my sister send in sms' when they have a poll or question on. And SBS has heaps of interesting stuff.

Does anybody know if AGAP is going to be released?

FauxApathy 01-03-2006 06:36 AM

I live in america, and I've never gotten anywhere close to 13 channels with standard tv. Maybe 5-9.
hey im new here, but ya trav and tom should keep going with
boxcar and leave mark. travis barker is one of the best drummers out there
and tom is a pritty sick singer, if they rocked out a bit more they would be wicked...mark just adds 'soft' to everything...no offence
As much as i want Boxcar Racer back i have to say you are an idiot.
Travis is nothing like you'd expect him to be.

He's a bit of a phag.
He looks like the biggest prick ever now. His old dreadlocks were cool, although his tattoos never helped.

16 Nipples 01-03-2006 09:01 AM

Even though Boxcar sounded great, it did kinda ruin Blink. I mean if Tom never did it, I bet Blink would still be around now

It was worth it.

i disagree! I think that blink was and still would be better than boxcar, although i havent heard all of boxcar's songs, what i have heard doesnt flow like blink songs. Oh, and that song i think its called my first punk song? by box car racer, i dont like that at all.

What i did like about boxcar was how tom did take a more serious approach to writning lyrics and even the music had a heavier and more serious feel. I liked "feel so" by box car but thats about it. There are alot of more serious blink songs on s/t that i prefer over box car racer.....like stockholm syndrom, heres your letter, even im lost without you is a nice mellow song. I have other bands to go to besides blink or box car if i want heavier music

(sorry if there are aot of typos, but im on a school library comp and this keyboard is all broken.)

redrumsixsix6 01-03-2006 09:16 AM

o and if anyone needs a tab site..... http://ultimate-guitar.com not as good as mx was but its close

Listen to "Letters to god" and "Sorrow" and "Elavator" infact simply listen to the whole album, I feel so is my new favourite song.

Bad Blood 01-03-2006 09:42 AM

There Is is the best song Tom Delonge has ever written.

Get Fighted 01-03-2006 09:43 AM

/Puts it on.

Loserkid 01-03-2006 09:58 AM

Still dosnt compare to any of Marks songs.

Bad Blood 01-03-2006 10:02 AM

It does.

It's probably the only one, though.

Get Fighted 01-03-2006 10:03 AM
Still dosnt compare to any of Marks songs.
Wrong.

Loserkid 01-03-2006 10:09 AM
Wrong.
No im not, Mark Hoppus is one of the best lyric writers in pop-punk me thinks. tom has nothing on him.

B 01-03-2006 11:00 AM

Haha Butler you're so biased. There is no way Mark is one of the best lyricists in pop-punk right now. He's good, but he's not even a contender for the best.

Angry Balled Fists! 01-03-2006 11:15 AM

hahaha, i much prefer Tom to Mark.

Surtr 01-03-2006 11:25 AM

For me it switches between my moods. I'd say Mark is probably my favorite of the two most of the time though.

Pazz 01-03-2006 11:52 AM

I perfer Mark over Tom. Tom is still pretty good.

Bad Blood 01-03-2006 11:54 AM

Are we talking about song writing or vocals?

Dead Star 01-03-2006 11:57 AM

In general I think.

If so I prefer Mark.

Loserkid 01-03-2006 12:54 PM

IM NOT BIASED :upset:

But i think marsk tonnes better at vocals AND lyrics.

He might not be the best pop-punk song writer, but vocalist....

Virus278 01-03-2006 12:55 PM
Still dosnt compare to any of Marks songs.
what mark songs are u talking about? - he didn't really have a big part in the s/t album and a lot of blink songs before then werent that deep. He also really didn't sing a lot in cheshire cat and dude ranch which are a couple of really great albums. I know he did sing some songs in each of those albums like wasting time, josie, dammit, stockholm sydrome, etc. but still Tom sings a lot of really, really great songs in all of those albums and in boxcar racer.

redrumsixsix6 01-03-2006 03:12 PM

I usually prefer tom just cause he has more of that pop-punk voice than mark does. Altho i must admitt, tom is out of his prime in singing or it atleast seems like that! I have live videos of blink and toms vocals were much better live than the more recent ones.....it sounds like he tries and make them sound different than he used to like make them sound more punky? i have no idea but all i know is that his vocal performance is much better in live at sydney than on lets say on pretty much any feeling this video live.

Oh, and ppl are always like mark brings the softer aspect of vocals, but stockholm syndrom is prob one of their heavier songs! And marks vocals in that song get heavy in the bridge part

Bad Blood 01-03-2006 03:18 PM

Mark's voice sounds a lot more mature than Tom's.

But Tom does have the punkier/more raw voice.

FauxApathy 01-03-2006 03:27 PM

my opinion, I love mark, but have always thought tom and his writing to be crap. I like mark so much more, he's probably the only reason I like blink at all is his voice. If he never sang, but they had the same songs, I would hate blink. I can't stand tom's singing at all.

"Feeling This" live is terrible vocally for both Mark and Tom in my opinion. "Feeling This" is definitley a studio song.

very true

Pazz 01-03-2006 04:28 PM

There are two times i have seen videos live of Tom singing and he sounded really crappy. There is the video of him at the Teen Choice Awards and his voice sounds terrible. There is also the video of him on Conan O'Brien and their singing First Date and it sounded god-awful.

A band should be able to play a song live almost as good as it is recorded.

everywhere,allthetime 01-03-2006 04:33 PM

i love blink to death but they always sound off tempo

Untitled 01-03-2006 04:37 PM
i love blink to death but they always sound off tempo
The couple of times i saw them they sounded ok. But i wouldnt blame them if they went off tempo, travis showing off properly does it for them.

everywhere,allthetime 01-03-2006 04:45 PM

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

thats very true about Travis. He does kinda ruin the bands live performance

everywhere,allthetime 01-03-2006 04:54 PM
