Well, I'm still in school. And it's hard for me to find a ride BACK from the show, unless I'm going with someone who can either give me a ride, or take the bus with me. It's not like a real major problem, but it's that my friends (who provide the ride) usually don't go to concerts on weekdays.
This means that I must learn the bus schedule for buses after 12am. Aye.

I've had Darkness Descends for like 2 years now, but I finally just now got Leave Scars, We Have Arrived, and Time Does Not Heal........which is really cool and stuff

I am going to commit metal blasphemy and say..........Time Does Not Heal > Darkness Descends

^^ Can't comment about that because I only have Darkness Descends. I want all their albums but there either too expensive or just not available.

I prefer Darkness Descends becuase Doty's vocals are better than Rinehart's, but Leave Scars is still good.

Animosity, he asked for any Destruction and Sentence of Death is some of their best work.

Shock Horror! I think Darkness Descends is highly overrated. Shoot me if you will, but it's my opinion.

i wish darkness descends would get a nice shiny remaster, so i can actualy pick out the riffs :D

Not blasphemy, I feel DFA concentrated on their songwriting more on that album.

It was remastered. The production isn't that bad on the original either, nice and raw to complement the brutal skullfvck that is the music of that album.

I know I have to wait only a few more days, but it feels like eternity. I hope they don't push the release to a later date like how Slayer did with Still Reigning...it felt like it was going to take forever for them to release it.

Right now, Incubus - Serpent Temptation is completely, totally, blowing my mind. You guys need to get it NOW if you don't have it.
another edit: I just looked at the lyrics on Metal-Archives, they are severe christian crap! One of the lines is actually "Follow God and you will be saved." :rolleyes: Oh well, doesn't prevent them from being one of the most extreme thrash bands I've ever heard :chug:

I agree with you there, its good but compared to Leave Scars and Time Does Not Heal it pales in comparison.

Whats Time Does Not Heal like? Is it worth buying? I thought about getting it, but I thought I wouldn't like it becuase I prefer the Doty era.

Aren't Incubus a NWOBHM band? I stumbled across them searching for Brandon Boyd's Incubus while putting my CD collection on to rateyourmusic.com. Or is it Opprobruim [Incubus]?

Well in my eyes Ron was always superior to Doty, they sound slightly similar at times. But yeah Time Does Not Heal is worth it alone just for the title track

Heard of them, yeah, but only via association with Boyd's Incubus, and finding their stuff when searching for Inkubus Sukkubus (a vageuly gothic British band who are fairly local to me). I've never actually heard their music.
