Fishers (the burbs of Indy)... not too far, that the only reason I remember where they live... what part of Chicago you live in?

i love it here only thing is equipment is like double the price... and its not easy to get hold of certain things! surprisingly im not black either. came as a surprise to me to.

I spend two weeks in Whiting every summer, my grandma lives there (off of Indianapolis)... Hear about the two guys that got murdered in Hammond? she is two blocks away, and I got there the week after... I didn't sleep too well knowing people got shot that close...

I don't know if I mentioned I was joining my college's jazz band, but I just found out the bad news - there won't be any jazz band. :(
Only four people signed up so the class was cancelled, but on the plus side I'm being placed into the Concert Band, which is going to comprise of whatever musical group we can assemble ourselves into. I know there is a pianist/baby sax player and guitarist, and myself on bass among others. Maybe we can come up with an interesting group, at least I am hoping.

You could make some really good stuff with that ensemble, wish I had a good group....

one of my four (I don't know how it happened, but I'm in 4 bands...and I am not all that good...hell, who am I kidding? I suck....) bands is practicing then I think, but I'd rather go to the Jazz fest.........
