Where could I find a good Bomb The Music Industry stencil?
I posted on here earlier, use the search function :thumb:
Or if you persist with your asking then I'll post the link again...
It's just their logo that's featured on Jeff Rosenstock's t-shirt a few times.

So I'm thinking of building a tall bike.

I've always had a passion for bikes, and a few years ago I used to get garbaged ones, fix them up and sell them/give them to neighbor kids. I've allready tried builing a weird mutant bike out of neighbor kid's old bike parts, and it was really cool. Too bad it got stolen the very same day I made it.

So basically, at this point I own one bike frame, and may have access to another bike. If I really persue this, I'll update on my progress.

Skidmark Steve 01-14-2006 12:19 PM

Some kid I used to know use to make his own chopper bikes. They were sweet.

asdf 01-14-2006 12:26 PM

Chopper bikes are cool, but I couldn't afford all the pieces that go along with them.

While on a critical mass bike ride we met up with these guys:

Critical Masses are fun. If you lived in London, you could go to LARC to the bike building/fixing workshop every week. I may start riding a bike instead of public transport soon. By the way, your next post is 8000:thumb:.

I have this fancy mountain bike that falls apart all the time, and my mom won't give me like, 200 bucks to go buy a cheaper one cause I really don't need 21 speeds.

El Punko 01-14-2006 04:23 PM

Im workin on some shirts right now, Ill post results when Im done.

OK I found it. Thanks.

RudeBoyStompin 01-14-2006 09:55 PM

I'm 17 and I don't know how to ride a bike. I suck, haha.

Yeah, critical mass is great, except where I live not enough people participate for it to be very fun. Towards the end most people just gave up.

Wow, I wish I lived soemwhere with a bike building/fixing workshop.
Tall bikes look so tough to ride.
Might be. But I'll learn how.

8,000th post. :)

DaveToopes 01-14-2006 10:52 PM

I have an old school Dyno that I still ride around sometimes if I can't get a ride.

asdf 01-14-2006 11:05 PM

I have an old school schwinn from the 70's that I garbage picked. I treasure it.

Looks just like that only dark blue. Can't believe someone had just set it on the curb. When I saw it, I was just so stunned, that I actually went and asked the person if they were throwing it out, and they said yeah and that I can have it.

Liebensaft 01-14-2006 11:09 PM

So punx!

DaveToopes 01-15-2006 08:56 AM

Ha, I just noticed that there is no pedal.
It's common to see fauxhawks in urban areas, and especially in night clubs. It's a popular urbanite apple-using hipster 'do.
Round here we call those "metrohawks" coz metrosexuals all have them. Either that or the rooster, for obvious reasons.

D & V 01-15-2006 09:13 AM

fag-hawks.

RIP Ian Curtis 01-15-2006 09:17 AM

I invented that hairstyle, back in 2002, I was doing it way before anyone, coz my friend ben had a real mohawk and I wanted to be like him, but I was only 13 so I couldn't.

I didn't even notice that. Okay, my bike looks just like that, except dark blue and has pedals.

D & V 01-15-2006 09:47 AM

I steal my little brothers bike.

So I got some white jeans that are looking delicious for a black stencil. Right down the leg. I'll post some pics when I get around to doing it.

I'm thinking I'm going to do "Freedom Lives when the State Dies" on them.

That's sounding good.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 01-15-2006 05:53 PM

What material could I use for the stencil? If it's going to be the full length of my leg, I can't really find anything so long easily and I don't want a stencil for each individual word or two.

I'm kinda thinking I could get some of that huge construction paper they have at school.

You mean the posterboard? Because that would work perfectly.

Rise Me Up 01-15-2006 09:05 PM

I made a CRASS patch, with the "Crassh'ole" design. I hope to have pics up later.
