I had a vegan cookie once. I thought it was gonna taste like crap, but it was ridiculously good.
|
There's lots of local vegan bakeries, so we had a choice of what kinda cookie, too. Dutch chocolate, peanut butter, chocolate chip, or mint chip. That was seriously like the highlight of my day. Well, that and the pimp downtown who randomly started talking about my gauges, and how he had 00's in his ears before he went to prison.
|
Hahahaha, awesome.
|
Fantastic grind + br00tal breakdowns + a ton of movie quotes = cinema grind, aka GRAF ORLOCK! Anyone? This band rules:

My friend made banana vegan cookies. I am not vegetarian and I thought they would be pretty bad, but they were some great damn cookies.
|
Vegans seem to know their way around cookies.

|
Patient Zero were sweet. Wasn't into Narcosis but they were doing **** with awesome bands so whatever. Hangover Heartattack's vocals are horrid, they sound like Disclose's guitar. I loved the music though. Bruce Banner are okay. Brain Dead are ****ing sick.
Welcome dude, you'll get along just fine here. Stick around. |
I love Bruce Banner and Hangover Heartattack is alright. Haven't heard the others.
|
Bruce Banner and Narcosis are awesome.

Spring Break! |
I didn't bother to read the 232 pages, so excuse me if any of these bands have already been recommended.
Ok, so my personal favorites of the genre are Agathocles, Unholy Grave, Disrupt, Dahmer, I.R.F. Mesrine, SABU, Archagathus, Phobia, and His Hero Is Gone, so I'd recommend them to anyone. Those are pretty big names except for Archagathus and SABU though. Archagathus are a newer band from Manitoba, Canada who play total agathocles worship mincecore/crust, and SABU are total d-beat. I'm not sure how to insert a link, so i'll just give the url for Archagathus (I can't remember SABU's): http://www.myspace.com/archagathus! and if anyone likes a combination of grindcore, crust, d-beat and death metal, check out my band voreaphilia - http://www.myspace.com/voreaphilia (i term us Mincegore for short! haha) |
so, anyone else here from the uk? or know any more decent current uk grind crust bands?

Bruce Banner is f'ucking awesome! "I've Had It With Humanity" and "I Love F'ucked Up Noise" are both awesome releases. Although, I dig "I've Had It With Humanity" A LOT more. I don't know if i'd stick them in the grind thread though. |
Bruce Banner kick ass, though.
|
I won't argue that sir! :)
Is anyone else still in love with Minor Threat?
Yeah, I listened to them for the first time in a while yesterday. Still good. |
Is anyone else still in love with Minor Threat?
Minor Threat is awesome, I don't know about "in love with them" though. |
Eh, it might have something to do with being my first punk band, back in the day.
|
Minor Threat rules. So do most Ian MacKaye bands.
I know I posted a picture of this a while back, but here is the video of it. My friend and I are taking a boogie board for when Comadre plays at Dudefest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qf3RnDCshV8 |
Dear Lord that video ruled. Truly "crowd surfing".
Is anyone else still in love with Minor Threat?
Never fell out of love. |
