Are you joking me? Bush's personal character was dragged through the mud every few seconds on pretty much every media outlet.

It took a lot longer than a year for that to happen though.

Yeah, but he was singled out for his rather easy to attack personality and his decisions on pretty big issues like starting wars

with Obama people started analyzing everything before he had even made his first executive decision

I was 11 years old when he was elected, but I don't remember anything close to the magnitude of crap that Obama is getting, even if you don't agree with his policies there is NO denying the ridiculousness of the smear campaigns against him, it's all built out of fear.

You really don't need to make up stuff about Obama since he's gone back on a lot of his campaign promises, lied about transparency, and basically continued some of Bush's policies even though he said he wouldn't.
