yep coddington, i'll go look!

i played your bass today! :p

Fernandes Power 01-22-2005 06:46 PM

I know! I was trying out something there once and everytime I moved hed brace all the nearby basses like I was gonna knock 'em over... Id be protective of all those nice basses too I guess... So much amazing amplification in there as well...

They are definitely alot harder to handle and you really need to talk to them in the right fashion or hell just mumble and turn back around (done it to me and my friend a couple of times)

Hey guys.

Wintermute 01-22-2005 07:05 PM

I had a bizarre yet superb day. I worked an 11-hour, constantly insanely busy bar shift with faulty equipment, then skipped off at the end of it, nipped round the corner and watched Eric Clapton with the Jools Holland Rhythm'n'Blues Orchestra.

That's right folks, I was behind the bar at the biggest charity concert since Band Aid - the Cardiff Tsunami Benefit gig. We raised £1,250,000 ($3,300,000). And just our bar, which was quite a small one (though admittedly a particularly busy one) drained 39 kegs.

 You bastard.

Lucretia 01-22-2005 07:12 PM

Just watched it on TV... looked superb :(

BassVirtuoso 01-22-2005 07:21 PM

And then Clapton got to the mic and said.

"Our bassist couldn't show up today, is there anyone out there that plays bass?"

And all of a sudden Alex runs on stage, and grabs the 6 string that Clapton's bassist was supposed to use. All eyes are on him, then he busts out an insane groove and Clapton grooves with him.

Wintermute 01-22-2005 07:23 PM

That would have been heart-stoppingly cool but... well. It would have been heart-stoppingly cool. My heart would have stopped.

LewsTherin 01-22-2005 07:54 PM

:upset:

its snowing alot here. we're supposed to get like 2 feet. anyone else here gunna get snowed in today?

BassVirtuoso 01-22-2005 08:04 PM

I hope we get 2 feet, I don't want school monday.

Kayetan 01-22-2005 08:04 PM

we were supposed to get like 6-8 inches of snow, but we only got about 2 inches. It kind of a dissapointment.

Lucretia 01-22-2005 08:05 PM

It's snowed all day, not sticking though :(

LewsTherin 01-22-2005 08:06 PM

yeah...we've gotten like 6 inches so far, but its supposed to snow all through tomorrow, i think.

Lucretia 01-22-2005 08:09 PM

Lay_Down_The_Groove 01-22-2005 08:18 PM

Twiggy_Skold 01-22-2005 09:24 PM

It was supposed to snow 4-8 inches here today but we only got about an inch and a half of sleet. Kinda of more fun than snow though cuz you can slide all over the place on it. I hope it melts some tomorrow then freezes on the road so we can get out of scholl. We finish exams on monday and we may not have to take em if skools cancelled. It happened last year this way and it was great.
