The second Numanuma video (takes place in a computer lab, but it's a bit dark :-\)
What the hell are they doing?

Illmatic 03-19-2005 12:30 AM
You actually haven't recently.

You get some a lot though.
I'm a college student in a healthy relationship.

Kurtz 03-19-2005 12:34 AM

Ah.

Tis logical.

Illmatic 03-19-2005 12:35 AM
Ah.

Tis logical.
Why yes it is.

Kurtz 03-19-2005 12:39 AM

I can't fucking believe my bracket

Jom 03-19-2005 12:39 AM
What the hell are they doing?
Mimicing the Numanuma movie.
That was kinda gay.
Where did I say that the movie was going to be gut-wrenchingly funny? Huh? Where?

Jom 03-19-2005 12:43 AM
You pull stuff out of your ass.
oic.

What's it to you, Rapunzel?

Illmatic 03-19-2005 12:43 AM

Also, madey, about your brother: He's going to get caught eventually regardless of whether you tell your parents. And by "eventually" I mean "very soon". I wouldn't do it, but we undoubtedly come from different families.

Kurtz 03-19-2005 12:44 AM

www.funpic.hu/swf/numanuma.html

Oh.

Jom 03-19-2005 12:45 AM
Rapunzel? Are you seriously calling me that? That's gotta be the gayest insult ever.
No, I wasn't serious, you silly Washingtonian.

EDIT: everyone has heard my stories about my roommate and pot, so by all means, RAT HIM OUT.

Illmatic 03-19-2005 12:47 AM
No, I'm telling my parents. This is bullshit.
Don't rat him out, but stop taking care of him. He'll get caught, and he can't say you ratted him out.

Jom 03-19-2005 12:48 AM
I am ratting him out. It's happening. I don't care if it's a bitchy thing to do. It's not good for my brother to develop habits like this.
omg u bitch, thinking w/ ur hed lol

Kurtz 03-19-2005 12:51 AM

How long has he been toking?

Jom 03-19-2005 12:52 AM

Yeah, but you'll feel bad when he doesn't have anywhere to go. You said he just turned 21, so it will probably just be a phase. Just suck it up and deal with it, but do NOT pick up after him. Point being, though: You don't go against family.

Roommates who are assholes are another story, however.

Illmatic 03-19-2005 12:53 AM

Fine, do what you want.

Riva 03-19-2005 01:06 AM
Oh, and I shall. So, my thing is with DoD, its much more fun for me when I play with knife or spade only. It offers more challenge, more a rush when killing, and it drives the bastards crazy. So I get into a server running Avalanche(the most clutch blading map), I join allies, and hit a 21-31. Not bad for knife only. Then the map restarts and I go Axis, and end with like a 30-23 spade only. And at one point I went on a 7 kill run before dying. It was such fun.
God I love Avalanche. My mates and I used to have 8 person LANs playing that game, and I would sit in the little black doorway the leads out of the Axis base and snipe the Allies teammates to hell. They could never work out where I was either. It was awesome.

Kurtz 03-19-2005 01:40 AM

How much do POD XT's usually run for?

Ramsey 03-19-2005 01:44 AM

320 plus tax in the U.S.

You can find them on ebay new for 250, except you aren't garunteed a good product in good condition.

For me the POD is 400$ though, because I am getting the metal packs (packs that you pruchase and download off the net then upload them to your pod, they include new amps, effects, etc)

/me saves up

When you say uploading new amps/effects to the POD, do you mean modding it [physically], or just taking files from teh net and sending them to the POD?

I have no clue how it works

Ah

I will briefly explain

Basically, when you get the POD, it comes with no software. You are expected to download ALL its drivers from the internet, and all its programs. You can use a POD without a computer, but thats not its original use or intended use.

Anyways, a POD is intended for use with Guitar port, program you can download for free. It basically acts as an uploader for tones. Say you want meshuggahs tone. So then someone can post a meshuggah tone (typically called a patch) and you open it with Guitar Port. And there you have it, Meshuggahs tone, at your finger tips!

The POD is basically so versatile it can replicate nearly any tones. It comes with over a hundred pre loaded amps and heads. Imagine walking into a studio which has peaveys, marshalls, etc, and playing with each one of them. It basically has preloaded marshalls, mesas and plenty more. The metal packs I was talking about are more metal type amps, which replicate a metal sound. They cost 50 bucks, and if you want it with the fx package and the other package its a great deal for 99$.

You can also create and save your own tones on the POD as well. You aren't limited to just that. It comes with a built in chromatic tuner.

The BEST (hands down) feature of the POD, is MOST definetly its ability to record USB. You don't need a good souncard, you just need a USB port. Hence the quality on the guys track I posted.

/sorry for the long post
