My head hurts so bad, I causes me physical pain to read the forums. I did catch the Doors bit though, and I think Ray mmanzarek is seriously cool

Did anyone else have to endure the SATs this morning?
Yea, I did. I switched from Achilles Last Stand to Baba O'Riley and Won't Get Fooled Again to get pumped up.

I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I pwned all the math sections. It's just too bad I can't read or write.

ATM 10-08-2005 11:59 AM

The math sections owned me when I took it, but I did well with the other portions.

I got a 1120, which is pretty middle of the road.

Lunch 10-08-2005 12:04 PM

I got a 1950 last June (on the new SATs, the score is out of 2400), and it would've been a 1310 on the old ones.

Edit: Haha, JPJ, Schyma is about to get you're alternate account banned.

I guess I'll spoil his secret for everyone that doesn't know, ac/dc 4 lyfe is JPJ's account he made when he and Livewired were banned for spamming up the Led Zeppelin thread.

I listened to that yesterday, great album.

I switched to Tommy
I guess the more things change the more they stay the same

I'm trying to get into the 700's for the verbal and 600's for the math. The essay was rediculously terrible. I don't think there is a topic I could care less about

Lunch 10-08-2005 12:46 PM

Yea, my essay was garbage too. The reading sections are so boring too, the passages make me want to kill myself.

The grammar part makes me want to kill myself, page after page of bad English, not to mention mistakes that I've never heard anyone make in the first place, not even my Japanese friend who has a sticker on her bag that says "Surfrider is crazy to surfing"

Not to mention I kept on getting random *** songs in my head, like "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria" and "Jingle Bells"

/rant

EDIT: I also managed to get a Beatles reference in the essay :D

I got to take them before they got ridiculously long \m/

I got 1380, I think...it was between 1300 and 1400, I know that much.

NP: Cheap Trick - Surrender (god this song rocks)

Oh.....that sucks that it's about to get banned.

*doesn't edit post in the problem thread*

/ :p

I'm just kidding I'll edit it if jpj wants me to. If it's not too late......

Lunch 10-08-2005 01:09 PM

It doesn't really matter, it's just funny you thought he was a new user.

Hahaha...How Do you Solve a Problem Like Maria. That was a cool song. Actually, all I remember is that line.

I'm gonna learn some songs though, I've printed off the lyrics and chord charts to like seven different songs.

np: Mr. Tambourine Man...I think this song has some of the greatest lyrics Dylan ever wrote.

Glitterati 10-08-2005 01:15 PM
np: Mr. Tambourine Man...I think this song has some of the greatest lyrics Dylan ever wrote.
I agree. It seems like some of the best lyrics Dylan comes up with are when he's completely rambling.

Lunch 10-08-2005 01:18 PM

I couldn't get Spirit's "When I Touch You" out of my head during the test. Especially those great parts with the screams.

I hate it when that happens, we had a test at school and I couldn't stop singing 'Pinball Wizard' in my head.

magicbus 10-08-2005 01:38 PM

I got a 28 on the ACTs. I know nothing about the SATs.

That always happens to me, too.

BigTrav415 10-08-2005 02:55 PM

I guess I'm lucky, I usually get Pink Floyd stuck in my head :D Usually like a certain part of Echoes, it'll keep repeating over and over in my head... like right now... oh god no, now I've got "Good Day, Sunshine" playing in my brain :(

Broken Arrow 10-08-2005 03:20 PM

Last year, every time I played hockey I had "Brainwashed" by the Kinks stuck in my head.

The Kinks are good.

Cool avatar^

Yes, the Kinks are very good.

I just sneaked out of my house and got back in without anyone knowing I went anywhere. I had to get my bud I left on a tree. After I smoke this last little bit of bud I shall quit.....It's getting to be not worth it anymore.....just too much trouble. :(

magicbus 10-08-2005 03:36 PM

:D The Last Waltz

I just turned this on again.
