Mute Print 12-10-2005 11:34 PM

I just had a nice snack consisting of peanut butter and Ritz crackers. Mmm.
Do you know a guy named Pier? :p He moved here like...3 years ago from Quebec. I hate french Canadians, but he's a friend of mine and another guy I know were really cool. So you can't be all that bad...
Surtr 12-10-2005 11:35 PM

Holy crap..I've posted alot tonight, compared to what I usually post.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 12-10-2005 11:45 PM

I had like two dinners tonight. I had a frozen chicken parmagaen or however the hell you spell it, and then I went out for dinner and got bread, French (heehee) onion soup, and chicken wings. :)

I'm leaving. Bye Byez, ya'll.

Permanent Solution 12-10-2005 11:47 PM

Ewww

I've never liked French onion soup. I love soup, but that one is gross :(

Mute Print 12-10-2005 11:51 PM

I'm almost finished with my article so that I can post my thread. I think the band I'm doing this week is one of the best yet.

Yeah, French Onon soup doesn't sound all that good tasting.

Permanent Solution 12-10-2005 11:52 PM
Yeah, French Onon soup doesn't sound all that good tasting.
Actually, most people love it. I can't stand it though, it's gross.

B-ran: Sweet. But of course we know my band>your band ;)

Yeah well..I don't like onions and all that **** so I doubt I'd like it.

:p

It's going to be weird trying to do this without you Vince. I'm hoping Brandon, Chris, and others will be able to step in like they said they would.

When do you leave, again?

Thursday :D:D:D

Good luck though, I bet they'll step in for some rep ;)

Mute Print 12-11-2005 12:02 AM

Haha, good point. Especially Brandon.

not that I'll be able to rep him anyway

Just don't let him know that <_<

Or I could do it once I'm back too, whatevs.

Mute Print 12-11-2005 12:07 AM

Haha, I'll be able to rep him again eventually. He's one of like two or three people I've repped twice since getting stars.

And I liked your use of Suicidal Tendencies lyrics in that thread in the pit.

Yeh, well, he's a whore, what can you do? ;)

I liked it too. I was listening to that song, and I was like...oh man...this'll be great O:-)

Mute Print 12-11-2005 12:12 AM

It's such an awesome song.

Surtr 12-11-2005 12:13 AM

Having a nice little chat are we?

Permanent Solution 12-11-2005 12:15 AM

Yeah it is. Oddly enough I had never heard it when I got the TH soundtrack, but the Senses Fail version was amazing so I was like "Oh man, I gotta get the original of this!" It was actually a good cover too I think, though the original is of course better. And even though you may not be into lyrics...those are awesome lyrics.

Mute Print 12-11-2005 12:17 AM

The first time I heard it was on the Tony Hawk soundtrack as well. I thought Senses Fail did a great job with it, but naturally, the original was even better.

Yes. Join in, loser :p

Brian: Yeah. It's actually one of the few I was really impressed with. The rest were alright, but nothing stood out as great unfortunately. But I picked it up for $4 so no complaints :D

Mute Print 12-11-2005 12:22 AM

Fall Out Boy's cover of "Start Today" was amusing, as was Taking Back Sunday's song.

$4 would definitely be well worth it.

Excursions 12-11-2005 12:23 AM

Are we talking about Institutionalized? I heart Suicidal Tendencies, their self-titled is better than your face.

Haha, yeah...FOB's cover was easily the most Pop-Punk like rendition on there. Though I love Thrice, I wasn't a huge fan of their cover...but I think it's because I hate bad recording quality. Though I know you're not a fan, I thought Alk3's cover was quite good too.

Adam: Yeah. Great song. Only song I've heard by them though...want to give me the whole thing?

Mute Print 12-11-2005 12:26 AM

Alk3's cover was pretty good (considering it is Alk3 :p).

I actually though MCR did a pretty decent job too.

Thrice's was a bit disappointing.

Haha, yeah yeah. Gaby hasn't heard it and she went crazy when I told her I had it haha.

Yeah, actually MCR wouldn't be so bad if the guy never screamed. But alas :(

Excursions 12-11-2005 12:38 AM

I heard My Chemical Romance on tv for the first time. They are starting to get too popular for my liking. I think I might have to do something about it.

Vince: I would you know but slow connection bla bla, just download it off someone else on soulseek and it shall take a 1/4 the time. <3 u.

:-\

He posts here from time to time too.

Permanent Solution 12-11-2005 01:19 AM

Haha oh man, burn :(

Where was that, hxc?

Mute Print 12-11-2005 01:20 AM

Of course. Where else?

And now Niko is flooding hardcore with lyric threads.

Permanent Solution 12-11-2005 01:22 AM

Psh, loser. Lets all shun him henceforth

Yeh...hxc is a lame forum :-\

Mute Print 12-11-2005 01:23 AM

Some of the people in their are alright, but they're not my favorite forum to say the least. Which is too bad considering how much I love hardcore. :-\

Permanent Solution 12-11-2005 01:26 AM

Yeh...I like melodic hardcore and some new, some old...but the guys there are such cunts there's no motivation to go there, and half the bands they spooge over all sound the same so meh.

Mute Print 12-11-2005 01:28 AM

I love melodic hardcore. I like a lot of new hardcore, and some old hardcore too. It just seems like most of the threads in there are used to whore bands, and there is never any real discussion.

Excursions 12-11-2005 01:30 AM

Yeah, they were talking about the hardcore forum being shit awile ago, people whom I've never seen here before.

Permanent Solution 12-11-2005 01:32 AM

Yeah...it's just circle jerking around some bands, and some guys trying to be the best elitist by naming a bunch of unknown bands who all sound exactly the same. Such is most of new hardcore sadly. I like the more unique bands. Like Mod Flanders Conspiracy. They're better than any band they discuss there, yet when I made a thread about them no one even read it so meh.
