New nid codex is interesting if you haven't seen it Nate, some stuff got improved and other stuff got nerfed, but they have a ton of new beasts lol.

The trygon is badass, so are the gargoyles. Carnifex is basically useless now.

witch hunters aren't due for another codex in the near future :( they got a bit of a boost with 5th edition rules though

Trygons are pretty dangerous now. Especially since you can make them pop up under objectives, which are usually guarded by weaker units.

he's played warhammer a handful of times in two years

I'm buying some forge world stuff pretty soon. Death Korps of Krieg infantry.

Warhammer isn't a waste of money if you enjoy it and play it more than once in a blue moon, it's pretty much endless entertainment provided you have people to play with.

Eh, I hardly ever spend money on anything besides some bills, gas, food and beer, so I might as well spend it on something I like.

Truth, I got a friend with a death corps army and it's so cool, they look like WWI era German soldiers.
