My Costco just has random albums. I got Nashville Skyline there for like $7 or $8.
|
That's a pretty good deal.
Get this....today, we were talking about technology, and our teacher asked us if we knew what vinyl records were. How ignorant is that?
I'm not surprised...vinyl has been out of vogue for at least twenty years, and most kids aren't into music enough to look into vinyl. NP: Queen - Brighton Rock |

I've discovered Costco has awesome cd prices. Awful selection, but awesome prices. They had a 5 cd Simon and Garfunkel box set for 27 bucks. I might get it.
Go for it. Simon & Garfunkel are great. I've pretty much stopped going to HMV altogether. The one near me charges way too much. I usually go a little further into town to a used CD store now. |
Forget albums, Costco has the best Blueberry Muffins ever.

NP: Queen - Brighton Rock
Yes, but there's a difference between owning/listening to vinyl, and knowing what vinyl is. I don't expect most teenagers to listen to vinyl albums, but I expect them all to know what a vinyl record is. I haven't listened to Queen in ages. I'm listening to PF's A Momentary Lapse of Reason right now. |
My stepdad got the boxset of like, all their albums, and I have a bunch of those albums (A Day at the Races, A Night at the Opera, Jazz, Sheer Heart Attack, News of the World) on my laptop. So...yeah.

I've never had Costco's blueberry muffins  Costco has the best free samples ever. I'm really liking A Night at the Opera. I'm glad one of you guys sent that out. |
In the Toronto Star(newspaper) on the front page of the A&E section I saw this old man who looked fairly familiar. I read it and it was none other than Robbie Robertson talking about the Bands new boxset containing 5 CD and a DVD of unreleased material and a 108 page illustrated book. Robbie is 61 he looks so old.
np-Over the Hills and Far Away HTWWW style (yep Led Zeppelin, whatcha gonna do about it?) |

Stab you in the throat, assuming I was Schyma. |

If I was really rich, I'd buy it :thumb: Robbie Robertson's cool  I actually listened to Over the Hills and Far Away today, even though I don't like Zeppelin. I like that song though. |

The guitar is cool in it though sounds like Cotez. |

That'd be pretty sweet. How come some of you don't like Zeppelin? Over the Hills and Far Away is a great song. |
That'd be pretty sweet.

There to tr00.*
*dont like Roberts voice np-Canned Heat-Going Up the Country live at Woodstock |
That'd be pretty sweet.
Are you trying to hint at something? :p As for Led Zeppelin, I think I've heard so much Led Zeppelin in my life that I'm just tired of them. |
I love Robert Plants voice. Live Zeppelin has better vocals than any other music ever...in my opinion of course. I'm not sure why I love it so much, it just appeals to me on a whole other level.

I found a pretty cool video on Google Video:

'Tis. I'm a casual fan, because most of their stuff sounds the same to me. I like them, they can just get a little boring. I'm gonna assume that I'm the only Kiss fan ITT. |

I'm gonna assume that I'm the only Kiss fan ITT.
I don't mind hearing a KISS song every once in a while when it comes on the radio....but I could never put on one of their albums and enjoy it all the way through. |
Led Zeppelin is one of the most diverse bands around, I don't know how most of it could sound the same.
|
Gene Simmons is the most greedy person in the entire world.

I don't not like KISS...I'm not one of those snobs whose stomach turns at the very mention of their name. I enjoy their music, but not all that much. |

I didn't have any music DVD's before I got on here, so I need a lot. Edit- As for Kiss, I don't really care about them. I mean, I'll listen if one of their songs comes on the radio, but wouldn't buy an album of theirs. Good party music though. |
Google Video is actually pretty good. I saw No Direction Home on there :O But you can't watch it yet.

It's only in BETA right now though. |

Robbie Robertson came on my radio station and talked about it and played his favorite tracks. |

I may like Kiss, but Gene Simmons comes across as a not very pleasant person to be around. |
