FREAKofNATURE 09-10-2004 05:53 PM

now your the hacker

Wintermute 09-10-2004 05:54 PM

Hah, the other day I got 210 kills in 17 minutes on UT2K4. It's great fun to do Zoom Instagib CTF on Face3

If the defences were underground, they wouldn't be able to shoot at me, so I would just skip merrily past them in my 80 ton robot.

Foxfire 09-10-2004 05:55 PM

Hell no!

The servers just sucked.

My favorite ever was an hour long bolt-action rifles only game I played. 220 even kills (deaths weren't recorded but I think it was in the area of 80).

FREAKofNATURE 09-10-2004 05:55 PM

holy **** 210, the online games that ive played it would take like half an hour to get that much

Foxfire 09-10-2004 05:55 PM

UT2k4 is a great game. I like it a lot more than UT2k3.

Wintermute 09-10-2004 05:57 PM

The addition of Onslaught was inspired.
Mantas rule all.

FREAKofNATURE 09-10-2004 05:58 PM

i think the highest amount of kills ive gotten is like 173 in around 25 minutes. and that was with like 25 deaths.

madthumbs 09-10-2004 05:58 PM

just asking, has anyone on here got halo 2? Australia sucks *** becuase we get everything late. :upset:

FREAKofNATURE 09-10-2004 05:59 PM

no i think it comes out in november

FREAKofNATURE 09-10-2004 06:03 PM

ya halo 2 comes out november 8th here.

madthumbs 09-10-2004 06:06 PM

oh ok, its pretty cool, in the city of melbourne they have the band regurgatator (forgive spelling) in the glass buble thing, and they have to record a full length album while they are in there, its pretty interesting. They are the first people in Australia to have Halo 2.

FREAKofNATURE 09-10-2004 06:07 PM

there are people in a glass bubble recording an album? when does it come out for you?

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 09-10-2004 06:08 PM

The Next Best Thing, or T.N.B.T are a smaller south side ska/reggae band from Southern Ontario. I have been looking for bass tabs for them for literally months! Im not good at writing tabs myself so, please I anyone has Tabs for them, share them with me!

Foxfire 09-10-2004 07:13 PM

GREAT song! :thumb:

Sonata in C major needs a double-tapped transcription though.

Maybe I'll get around to it one of these days. :D

e p 09-10-2004 07:16 PM

Nice idea Fox.

Ive really been getting into Robert Randolph and the Family band. They are a mix of funk and soul with an amazing steel player(robert randolp) and a good bass player as well. Really good.

Crapdragoon 09-10-2004 07:20 PM

im bored, but at least its friday

i was down there the other day. jabba was still in bed, in the top bunk, and they were shaking it trying to get him out.

i think my band is more productive than those guys.

Well guys, we didn't end up going tonight; only four of us wanted to go, while the others chickened out...we're definitely going tomorrow though...I can't wait! :upset: I wanted to go tonight...oh well...

So anyway, how is everyone's evening going thus far? I'm home pretty early.

By the way, Robert Randolph and the Family Band is pretty good...I was in the process of tabbing out the main bass riff to "I Need More Love."

^Yeah its a good one.

Can anyone give me the link/name to the previous thread that showed someone tapping out a piece on a 9 string?/

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 09-10-2004 08:30 PM

go where?

bottlerocket 09-10-2004 08:30 PM

The Danvers Insane Asylum...it's heavily guarded (it has been ever since it was shut down) because it's so haunted and so many kids try to get in. It's awesome dude. I'll try to find something online about it.

There ya go ep ;)

Do those look like fanned frets to you? I dunno if there's something wrong with my eyes, but they look like it to me. :p

Foxfire 09-10-2004 08:46 PM

Gav, that era of history I find really interesting. That's really cool. :)

bottlerocket 09-10-2004 08:50 PM

^ No problem...I'm not a history guy, I just don't really like it; now science and math, now you're talking my language.

Thanks man

Yes they are fanned

Foxfire 09-10-2004 08:51 PM

:p

I got lucky, I suppose.

I inherited writing and history type stuff, as well as music, from my mother.

Math and science are from my dad.

:p

I'm a huge fan of history-related RTSs. :p
