Unban Me Says Cameo 01-13-2006 06:22 PM

Aaaand, would anyone like to assist me in coughTABBINGcough out some Rites of Spring songs? Specifically Spring, Drink Deep, and For Want Of. There is a For Want Of tab goin' around but it really sucks.
You live in Ohio. Where exacly are you guys going to be playing? You should book some shows around the Columbus area and I could check your band out. If you don't know anything about the Columbus area but you you're willing to travel. Try booking at Bernies or the Newport. It would be awesome to see a band from someone from mx.
I'm in Columbus, son. We were gonna do Midgard a long time ago before we were like... inactive, and then it closed down. We were supposed to play with members of So Close to Nothing, if you ever caught them at one of the infamous Benton Got Bitter/The Pollock Experiment shows. I know all about Bernies and Newport, and I was also thinking of Hi-Five or Fi or whatever it is. That band is gone though due to me not being able to scream anymore but I'm working on an indie solo project called Knifai. If I book shows soon I'll be sure to let you know incase you wanna check it.
I could probably figure out a bunch of those by just wanking around. I'll send a chord chart if I get around to it tomorrow.
That'd be great, thanks a lot.

cbmartinez 01-13-2006 08:26 PM

Hey Dfel, "Flags At Dawn" would be great. I have the vinyl but haven't gotten around to spinning it and I'd like an mp3 version anyway.

That's sweet. Do you have AIM or myspace or anything? If so, leave it for me. All I know about locally in Ohio is The Heartland, Dead Will Rise and The Hatchet. All metalcore.

Wow 01-13-2006 08:46 PM

aim = FuzzyLlamaOfDoom

Got my old one back :D

whiteminority 01-15-2006 02:01 PM

Got my Pig Destroyer / ORchid split yesterday. It is fucking great. Orchid are alot slower though which sort of surprised me.

deadohiosky9 01-15-2006 02:12 PM

thats a good split.

whiteminority 01-15-2006 02:19 PM
thats a good split.
yeah it is.
I like the Pig Destroyer side better though.

Luxor 01-15-2006 10:28 PM

I should have gotten Cryonics a lot sooner than... 5 minutes ago.

cbmartinez 01-15-2006 10:47 PM

Yes you should have. What an amazing album.

whiteminority 01-15-2006 10:55 PM
I should have gotten Cryonics a lot sooner than... 5 minutes ago.
Not really. Hot Cross blows.

Special Brew 01-15-2006 11:02 PM

>:-(

Take it back!

k1ckthecat 01-15-2006 11:16 PM
Not really. Hot Cross blows.
you need a spanking

whiteminority 01-15-2006 11:26 PM

No. I listened to Cryonics like 9 times because I was told that was their definative album and it was too busy and cluttered. I respect Bill Werner for Saetia and Level Plane Records but that is it. Hot Cross is just bad.

Floydfanatic 01-15-2006 11:28 PM

i really like cryonics a lot

srt-4 01-15-2006 11:41 PM

cryonics is amazing

whiteminority 01-15-2006 11:51 PM

Not really. I like they're guitars but they are putting in too much technicality just for the sake of technicality.

Floydfanatic 01-15-2006 11:55 PM

it sounds good to me

whiteminority 01-16-2006 12:25 AM

Ok.

deadohiosky9 01-16-2006 12:58 AM

ben, you speak blasphemy. luxor, that album is amazing. a new set of lungs is really good too, i've been digging that one a lot lately.

whiteminority 01-16-2006 01:00 AM

Neeshee, they aren't even an emo band. Lord they are a post-hardcore band that are overly technical who are whored crazily hard because Billy was in Saetia.

deadohiosky9 01-16-2006 01:03 AM

once again, i must disagree with you. they are an emo band. but i respect your opinion on cryonics, even though i disagree. they are kinda whore crazily cause billy was in saetia though.

whiteminority 01-16-2006 01:09 AM

Neeshee we work together so great because I am the Ying and you are the Yang. Let me stick my Ying in your Yang and we shall have children.

deadohiosky9 01-16-2006 01:17 AM

thats a deal.

srt-4 01-16-2006 01:18 AM

they are both great, but i like hot cross better than saetia. so the fact that billy was in saetia does not enjoy a causal relationship with my view of the awesomeness of hot cross.

whiteminority 01-16-2006 01:24 AM
thats a deal.
Sweet, virgin ass. This is the best day since that night in jail... :naughty:

kidding

deadohiosky9 01-16-2006 01:24 AM

i agree with srt-4. hot cross are a lot more mature from billy's perspective than saetia was. hes kinda gotten over himself and brought a wiser persepctive lyrically.

EDIT: Ben you're sick.

whiteminority 01-16-2006 01:42 AM

and thus it was said... i am high, forgive me neeshee.
