the drum machine sucks very much, which deters from the music quite a bit. since deathcore as a genre is 75% about appearances, the production just doesnt cut it altogether.

Oh, definitely. I listen to BtM tbh; they just get a little boring after a while and they aren't anything incredibly special..

instrumentally, theyre pretty spectacular

and idk, ive listened to them to the point where i can differentiate between songs and such, i dont find them boring

but i see why people do

They're definitely proficient musicians. I used to be a HUGE BtM fan, but over time and about 30 tech death/deathcore bands later, I kinda got bored.

Don't get me wrong, I love deathcore, I just have a short attention span. I think All Shall Perish is the only deathcore band that I don't get sick of after a while. I need a break from some of the bands sometimes.

That whole "For fans of" thing is kinda funny to me. A lot of the time its not accurate, its just a ploy to sell cds. I fell for it hundreds of times back when I bought like 6 cds a week.

Not heard of them, might check it. What about The Breathing Process? I've got their latest albums, it's ok.

EDIT: Sometimes that for fans of is sometimes used as the bands are on the same record label, and sometimes is just a load of bull.

I have a cd of theirs, I don't remember it being anything special though. I'll give it another listen since somebody is actually mentioning them.
