if a new member sings up, and you told them about MX, they can put your email in as a reference.

Is there a huge difference between neck-through and bolt-on in terms of sound quality? I know bolt-on's are brighter but are they really that much so?

Play your bass!!!!!! Come on now.

ridethelightning 12-20-2004 10:14 PM

fox: SUSTAIN! and easier playability at teh high frets, id get neck-through for sure if its an option

Foxfire 12-20-2004 10:15 PM

But that's (in theory) a 500 dollar upcharge if I get a custom 9...

ridethelightning 12-20-2004 10:17 PM

a custom 9 ahaha, you richy

go for it, youll be happier in the long run!

cliffburtonrules 12-20-2004 10:17 PM

A custom 9?!?!?!?!?

7 isn't enough for you is it?

:amaze: 12-20-2004 10:17 PM

The only downside about neck-throughs is that they have a tendency to have more dead spots in the neck.

:amaze:

ridethelightning 12-20-2004 10:18 PM

ill buy yer 7 later.

Yeah, I am ... but i'm not really inspired to write new stuff right now, I'm not sure why...

:amaze:

Foxfire 12-20-2004 10:19 PM

Oh, no. See, I'm considering a custom. And I'll be honest, a 9 would be so **** cool. I won't be able to afford it for a while, though.

Every time I almost get hit by a car, or there's the chance I might die, I wonder...

Who would tell you guys I got killed?

Furthermore, if I had gotten the chance to write a will, who would my 7 go to? My Curbow?

We'd read an article in the paper:

"Computer-obsessed bass player 'fell' into a woodchipper this afternoon. Officials say that his will stated 'My GT-7 will go to cliffburtonrules' although it wasn't written in his own handwriting."
