to Jake and Kingofdudes:

thank you:

RYM >>> recordnerd

Bartender 11-27-2005 04:49 PM

RYM has, I think, advantages over recordnerd. Or at least, it has many more gadgets that recordnerd did. Whether that's an advantage or not is up to you, I suppose.

the2stranger 11-27-2005 04:51 PM

I'm not sure if I can be bothered to create a whole new account on RYM, or even to update my recornerd list :p

anyways.
I'm going to bed, school tomorrow.

night night people!

Why?

Shadows 11-27-2005 04:52 PM

Jelle tried to get me into using RYM a while back, but I wasn't able to bring myself to do it. Now I wish I had. :(

Lunch 11-27-2005 04:57 PM

I would've made a RYM account but the site always goes really slow for me. Recordnerd is quick and easy.

Bartender 11-27-2005 04:59 PM

I was a latecomer to RYM too, but I managed to get the vast majority of my collection (about 300 at the time, I think) added there in one go. Just gave over an afternoon (about three hours) to it.

It does have periods of going far too slowly, though. If you're American/Canadian I think going on early in the morning would help.

Broken Arrow 11-27-2005 05:00 PM

RYM goes quick for me.
Why?
I made my old one a while ago. A lot of my ratings have changed since then, and I used to count burnt CDs as part of my collection(im not this time). I also cant remember my account name/password/email I registered with. :(

Bartender 11-27-2005 05:01 PM

All very good reasons.

superpeer 11-27-2005 05:03 PM

My collection is up to date. I do count burned cd's, but they only make up for 20% of my collection. I don't count mp3's, though.

That last reason was the best, actually, aaron. The rest you could just change.

Bart/Aaron - Especially the last one. It kind of makes the others void, I'd say.

NP: Ulver - For the Love of God

Yeah, so I think I'd say I'm basically addicted to Ulver now. :p

Kingofdudes 11-27-2005 05:05 PM

Ha, I know that my Children of Bodom ratings have changed.

Bartender 11-27-2005 05:05 PM

I only have one burned CD, and it was a present.

I nearly started over due to me wanting to change ratings but then I realised how to do this mass editing thing.

But after reading your last reason I now realise this is pointless.
