Eh, after five years, it doesn't even effect me. Like, today, I heard, "Shiiiiiiit! Y'all see how ****in' tight that nigga's pant was?!" I just keep walkin'. Not worth my time to defend my clothing.
I ain't joining another forum. One is enough for me.
This is truth, couldn't even keep up with my own forums
River Phoenix played the young Indy in the beginning of Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade. I know this because I've seen all the Indiana Jones movies roughly seven billion times.
I have never seen an Indiana Jones movie despite being a huge Harrison Ford and George Lucas fan. I should rent them all, and all the classic zombie movies because I've never seen those either.

In other news, I spent money on CDs again. I'm a CD shop-aholic with little self-control. Going into a decent record store is dangerous for me. I've walked out of Rasputin once without buying anything, and I felt dirty.

Today I bought
Oi Polloi - Fuami Catha (used) It was in the celtic section, so either they went celtic later on, or some idiot though Gaelic automatically means celtic

Minutmen - Paranoid Time (used) I'm not a huge fan of Minutemen, but this cd caught my eye. It's an old CD EP or CD3. It's a 3 inch disk, like a mini-disk that was used when CDs orginally came out for EPs such as the 7" and the 12"

Johnny Cash - American III: Solitary Man They had Cash's first album on vinyl, but it was new and full price, and didn't want to buy it as a collector's piece while I don't have a record player currently, so I got this album first. Kind of working backwards since the first Cash CD I bought was American IV: The Man Comes Around

$30 it all was, pretty good. Other news that were almost bought: Madness - One Step Beyond (import), Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables (special edition), Dead Kennedys - Give Me Convience or Give Me Death, Jello Biafra & the Melvins - Sieg Howdy!

TheNowhereman42 10-27-2005 08:44 PM

wonderful, lets dance and eat cake

TheNowhereman42 10-27-2005 08:47 PM

if you get classic zomie movies you have to get Dead Alive, but its useless unless its the unrated version

Culture Shock 10-27-2005 09:05 PM

What ever happen to the Record Nerds thread? Can someone please locate that for me?

obese_breasts 10-27-2005 09:48 PM

Nope, not once Brad.

Subvert_bassist 10-27-2005 09:57 PM

I feel like an outsider. I don't know anyone's names.

TheNowhereman42 10-27-2005 10:05 PM

TheNowhereman42 10-27-2005 10:21 PM

Quiet down, you! Back in the basement!

On friday we may just join the incredibly small ranks of american MXers who have seen each other IRL.

obese_breasts 10-27-2005 10:29 PM

OMG it'll be awesome.

StruckEverywhere 10-27-2005 10:40 PM

I'm bananaman, and that's what you may call me. I'm nana to my friends though.

AndreTheHyena 10-27-2005 10:43 PM

My name is Andrew (or Andy sometimes), but everyone around here insists on calling me "Andre", though I haven't the faintest clue why.

I also haven't the faintest clue why we're saying what our real names are.

TheNowhereman42 10-27-2005 10:47 PM
OMG it'll be awesome.
It turns out I'm seeing AM! on the saturday instead at pomona, but Im still going to the acoustic set, and then afterwords I'm seeing Section 8, Stretch Armstrong, Strung Out and muthaf'uckin A WILHELM SCREAM.

StruckEverywhere 10-27-2005 10:47 PM

Well, I didn't. And I thinks it's because a noob feels left out.

Brain Toad 10-27-2005 10:50 PM

The best part of buying a Johnny Cash album is reading the linear notes. I love reading him telling a story about the album and such. Any good album as good linear notes, or the album isn't really worth buying, but Cash's are especially well done.

Solitary Man has two of my favourite later Cash songs on it too, Mercy Seat and That Lucky Old Sun.

StruckEverywhere 10-27-2005 10:59 PM

The Shape Of Punk To Come has the best liner notes of all time.

lynch_me 10-28-2005 05:28 AM

propagandhi's less talk more rock has good linear notes.
