Wow. You act more mature than me most of the time
:) everyone tells me that

Seafroggys 12-08-2006 08:16 PM

yeah you're 13 years old, seriously  everything changes in just a year or two anyways.

LoneStarDrummer 12-08-2006 08:29 PM

you're 13, stupid stuff happens at that age. high school is much different and better than junior high. life gets better as well as school itself. then in four years when you're out of high school nothing that has happened to you at school in the past 13 years (counting kindergarten) will ever matter.

that's when things start getting interesting.

We_Love_Lime 12-08-2006 08:32 PM

since when is highschool better than middle school?
Both established an equal amount of suck.

LoneStarDrummer 12-08-2006 08:35 PM

high school was probably the best four years of public school. college of course, minus finals week, being far better than high school.

junior high was mere practice for what was about to happen in high school.

Loser 12-08-2006 08:37 PM

You take prozac and you're 13? That's really unusual, most of the time psychiatrists don't prescribe fluoxetine to people under 18.

Win A Rabbit 12-08-2006 08:50 PM

I had a rough time around 14 or 15, but it happens with everyone at that age, and eventually it'll pass and you'll be a better person for enduring it. Keep your chin up.

LoneStarDrummer 12-08-2006 08:52 PM

if all else fails, just start kicking people in the nuts. it worked for bobby hill.

Futuro 12-08-2006 09:03 PM
K, so, I'm really pissed. Alright, when i was in 5 th and 6th grade I had severe Seperation Anxiety. I cried randomly, got made fun of because of it. M y grandma was dieing. No one knew. I t was so brutal. Fast forward to this year...I'm acting mean to the people who were mean to me...They said I deserved all of the things that happend to me. Now everyone hates my because of that. I just dont get it...my life is so ****ed....I mean come on...i go to a psyciatrist and take friggin prozac. What the hell. I give up. :upset:
your life isnt ****ed. the world is ****ed.

MatthewMeredith 12-08-2006 10:03 PM

Don't take prozac.

Jeff 12-08-2006 10:07 PM

why? prozac is like happiness in a pill.

MatthewMeredith 12-08-2006 10:09 PM

Same reason I don't take Tylenol. Eventually your body depends on it.

If you're sick, drink tea. If you're depressed, go do something you enjoy.

Plus, he's 13. No phychiatrist in his right mind would give a 13 year old prozac. It's a placebo.

What if you become some sort of crazed tea addict?

MatthewMeredith 12-08-2006 10:12 PM

Then I get really really healthy.

Actually, I sort of am a tea addict. I have at least a pot a day.

Jeff 12-08-2006 10:15 PM

yo. do you guys ever have drumbattles on here?

Maggot Dream 12-08-2006 10:16 PM
Plus, he's 13. No phychiatrist in his right mind would give a 13 year old prozac. It's most likely a sugar pill... **** what are they called again?
Placebo.

Yeah, Prozac at 13 seems a little over the top.

TTTSNB 12-08-2006 10:17 PM
why? prozac is like happiness in a pill.
No, not really.

Jeff 12-08-2006 10:19 PM

ya well have you taken it? ive taken it when iwas round his age so i know.

Maggot Dream 12-08-2006 10:22 PM

It affects different people in different ways. There are many cases of Prazac making the situation a whole lot worse.

LoneStarDrummer 12-08-2006 10:27 PM
yo. do you guys ever have drumbattles on here?
yes, but not often. we've had various types, though lately they have been play-along ones where the contestants try to make the best beat/groove for the music.

Jeff 12-08-2006 10:28 PM

how often are they held?

Futuro 12-08-2006 10:29 PM

Lets go jeff. Me and you.

1 on 1

Undisco Kidd 12-08-2006 10:30 PM

So, I got Jim Jones - Dipset Christmas.

As Christmas Rap Albums go, it is incredible. By the 6th song, none of the lyrical content has anything to do with Christmas.

Jeff 12-08-2006 10:33 PM

i dont really partcipate. i just like to watch or listen. i dont have anyway to record drums in the garage and im not good anyways.

Futuro 12-08-2006 10:36 PM

Jeff 12-08-2006 10:42 PM

wow 56 rep points so far. is that good?

LoneStarDrummer 12-08-2006 10:48 PM

anytime you're in the plus, it's a good thing.

the battles are just whenever people decide it's time and someone takes the initiative to organize it.

Jeff 12-08-2006 10:50 PM

ok well ive decided its time. ps, drumphil, coco, and you are gonna drum battle. :P

Seafroggys 12-08-2006 11:14 PM
wow 56 rep points so far. is that good?
I have over 2500 :)

We need another general solo competition like we had in February. Those are the biggest and generally the coolest, in my book.

LoneStarDrummer 12-08-2006 11:25 PM

damn i've only got 340. epi really screwed up my rep when he neg repped me back in the days.

i kind of like the play along contest better. it's hard to judge solos when everyone has a different view as to what a solo should be.

some like to groove the whole time, some like to play technical stuff, some only want to show off their speed. everyone plays a different style of solo and everyone likes a different type of solo.

yeah but usually you have, say, a group of 10 in a catagory, there's gonna be 3 that are technically above the rest, so people will vote for one of those 3 they think is the best musically to them, which is what music is about.

LoneStarDrummer 12-09-2006 12:15 AM

that's true

Win A Rabbit 12-09-2006 12:17 AM

I like the competitions here. I've only entered one, and my entry was horrible, but I plan to enter as many as possible now that I have a (fairly bad) means of recording. It's good personal motivation to better myself, and a reason to get practicing.

We should get another one going soon. I'd be up for that.

Futuro 12-09-2006 12:29 AM

In the last comp I played quintuplet groupings accenting every 7th note....everyone thought my time sucked/or said they couldn't comprehend it.

:smoke: thats why I am here ladies.
