Powerviolence is alright and all but its got nothing on the best grind bands.

naw, i love grind but theres so much more awesome pv than there is grind. the classics for each genre seem to favor pv too.

The first track of the first and the first of the second disc are so awesome.

I'm just saying the Powerviolence I have heard I put below most of the grind I have, what do you consider the classic of each genre?

Maybe i should start listening to metal more. I was on shrooms and i put the wrong cd in and carcass' symphonies of sickness played and freaked me out :(

napalm death for grind, man is the bastard for pv, and siege for both genres are the classic/most important bands. i don't feel like listing them all, hah.

I actually like the newer one a lot more then I liked Metamorphogenesis, which is the only other album of hteirs I listened to it. I didn't really like Metamorphogenesis, tbh.

I really enjoy Metamorphogenesis.
It's huge, creepy, psychotic and heavy.
But the new Cd is awesome too, focusing way more on tempo poops to create atmopshere.
Check Subconcious Dissolution Into The Continuum, if you are interested in more awesome Esoteric.

Before that I mainly enjoyed Nirvana and BloodHound Gang and shi.

Bloodhound Gang is still hilarious imo.
