I've seen it around forever, and I've never known where it's from.
It's on some Taking Back Sunday poster.

One day we're all going to get ruined for that :-\

Mute Print 10-05-2005 06:26 PM

I'm afraid so, although if Kif gets away with it in "broad daylight", we might be okay.

Yup. And they're already starting to let it slip away. They need to get it together.

Mute Print 10-05-2005 06:39 PM

Fuck. Three run home run to put the White Sox up 5-4. All because of a retarded error by Graffanino.

B 10-05-2005 06:39 PM

Everyone in my town is so excited because the Leafs are playing tonight. I don't get why hockey is so exciting, half the games are so dull.

Yeah, my brothers not gonna let me hear the end of this if they win. He knows I like the Red Sox.

And to Fire, I personally don't see it either. I find hockey extremly boring and a complete waste of time.

Mute Print 10-05-2005 06:41 PM

I don't like hockey that much. I won't even consider watching it until baseball is over.

I also don't like the Leafs. They are major rivals of the Sabres.

Edit - I think I'm going to cry if the Red Sox lose. All of my friends are Yankees fans, since I live in NY, and they never leave my alone when the Red Sox lose. I got my time last year though. ;)

B 10-05-2005 06:44 PM

The Leafs are alright. I've always been a fan of whatever team the Leafs are playing that night just to piss people off :p. Although they could just say the Leafs won, even if they didn't, because I don't actually watch it.

Mute Print 10-05-2005 06:46 PM

The only time I ever got excited about Hockey was when the Sabres were in the Stanley Cup. And then we got screwed over by the refs.

B 10-05-2005 06:47 PM

That's what they all say Brian :p.

Mute Print 10-05-2005 06:51 PM

Haha, but it was true... :(

I wasn't too upset though. The only sports team I really live and die with is the Red Sox. That's why last year was like the year of my life.

Puma 10-05-2005 06:53 PM

I stick with my Cubbies.

Needless to say, their hasn't been alot to be happy about really at all.

Footy's where it's at...

B 10-05-2005 06:55 PM

I don't follow any sports that much. What a loser, eh? (Lawl what a Canadian)

I agree, only because I've played it since I was five. I don't watch it.

Puma 10-05-2005 06:56 PM

Presuming you mean soccer, I also played it for a good part of my life. But I can't sit and watch it. Unless I'm playing it just seems to go very slow to me.

Mute Print 10-05-2005 06:58 PM

I played it for about a year. I like'd it but didn't really continue on with it.

I don't like watching it much.

That's what I meant, I'm sure James did too.

Watching is a lot better when you're actually at the game, and preferably when it's at a big stadium and you know one of the teams. Then you really feel how much power over your emotions the game can have.

Sadly, since I left Sunderland I haven't been to any such games. :upset:

I'm glad to hear we have some North Americans who play footie as well though. All the Americans I've met only play baseball.

I've never seen a game in person. I'll watch some of the Chicago Fire games when my brother puts them on, but I usually lose interest. I'll have to go sometime.

I've watched a fair few MLS games because they get shown late-night here sometimes, but I never get the impression that there's much of an atmosphere at games. If geography wasn't an issue, you'd want to go to a big local derby game in Europe. Those things redefine volume and passion - it's bordering on scary sometimes. I've been to 2 in my time and both left my ears feeling like when you stand next to a speaker at a gig.
