Found out last night that my friend's funeral is the same day as my first exam. Just received an e-mail back from my tutor, they won't allow me to re-schedule on compassionate grounds either.

It's a mandatory part for passing a course for college to visit the UK for a couple of days and doing this simple research there. (We'll be doing something on the early pub closing times.)

Been a whole hassle saving up enough money, and I had to borrow some too, but tomorrow we'll be going to London to stay there for a few days, then to Glasgow and finally we'll be staying in Edinburgh for a few days.

Edinburgh is suppose to be a lot of fun, I've heard a lot of mixed opinions about London, apparently it's really expensive too.

Yeah, we're staying at cheap youth hostels and stuff, though, and we won't be going out getting shitfaced hardcore every night, so we'll probably be fine.

Not looking forward to all the hassle at the airports and train stations. And I hate the ear-popping when an airplane takes off.

Yeah airports are a pain in the ass, I enjoyed my train ride to Prague though, it was super simple and comfortable

It's supposedly the new drug capital of Europe. Are you noticing any of that?

I was only there for the weekend, I'm back in Vienna now. But I didn't exactly look for any drugs haha, I just enjoyed their awesome beer all weekend. There were some people smoking pot on the street and in bars but I didn't see anything else, I know it's suppose to be a big pot city but I'm not sure about other drugs. One of the shop owners was talking to me randomly about weed though lol.

London and Edinburgh are both expensive being capital cities.

Glasgow and Edinburgh are both nice, never been to London, no compulsion to go any time soon either.

Hehe, well, apparently it's super easy to score just about any kind of drug in Prague. But I guess that's only really obvious if you're looking for it.

I've heard Prague is mad cheap, though, so going out for a few beers should be cool.

Yeah Prague is cheap, it was like 1.5 euros at most for a beer at a restaurant after conversion.

Prague seems like it would be a great place to visit.

There are lots of countries and places I'd like to visit sometime, but I hate travelling by train, car, bus, boat or airplane, lol.

Me and a friend plan to one day go on a backpacking trip through New Zealand. Dunno if it'll actually ever happen, but yeah.

I might go on a trip to Iceland for a few weeks next summer or the one after depending on me and my friends financial situation, ideally we would like to rent a car and drive around the whole island and either couchsurf or just live out of the car lol.
