My friend told me the other day that he once stuck a firecracker in a little kid's candy bag, and when it went off, he took all his candy. I stared at him for about ten seconds and told him he was a monster.

That tottaly sucks.,

DaveToopes 10-25-2005 06:13 PM

Yeah, it really does. It's not like it's hard to get a lot of candy each year either.

Those were always my favorite part of my history projects.

Nerdcore753 10-25-2005 07:30 PM

But see, you have to understand how lazy I am and how much work it would be to get a paper from my backpack and then open Microsoft Word. A human can only do so much.

TheNowhereman42 10-25-2005 08:42 PM

On GAC theres a documentary on The Highwaymen, which apperently is some uberband with Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, two other people.

Brain Toad 10-25-2005 08:42 PM

I just remembered I did not do my English homework, again. I should do that.

Nerdcore753 10-25-2005 08:44 PM

What is this GAC?

Brain Toad 10-25-2005 08:44 PM
On GAC theres a documentary on The Highwaymen, which apperently is some uberband with Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, two other people.
They are not very good, because Cash doesn't sing as much. The other guys are Waylon Jennings (contemporary of Hank Jr) and Kris Kristofferson.

Great American Country

I was just flipping channels, I swear!

TheNowhereman42 10-25-2005 08:47 PM

I've been really adicted to Passenger by Iggy Pop after the new surge of Weatherman trailers.

Brain Toad 10-25-2005 08:48 PM
I've been really adicted to Passenger by Iggy Pop after the new surge of Weatherman trailers.
I hate that movie for the simple fact there is a poster at the bus stop I wait at, and it gives no information on the movie and it just pisses me off.

Glitterati 10-25-2005 08:49 PM
I've been really adicted to Passenger by Iggy Pop after the new surge of Weatherman trailers.
That's a good song. I'm looking forward to the movie.

I have a Highwaymen poster in my bedroom

Nerdcore753 10-25-2005 08:49 PM

I don't think I have that, otherwise I'd watch since I like Cash and Jennings (never bothered checking out the Highwaymen for some reason).

TheNowhereman42 10-25-2005 08:50 PM

I really want to see it, soley because of the part in the trailer where he says "People don't throw things anymore...maby its because I carry a bow around."

TheNowhereman42 10-25-2005 08:58 PM

Tihs is fairly sad

Cash: between the four of us we have 135 years on the road, it feels almost...like god has let us live forever

with him singing a pretty haunting ballad in the backround, followed by his son saying something about him living on in spirit, then a slow zoom in on a picture of a younger him, and then a clip of him and willie nelson laughing in some room with a texas flag.

...and now dukes of hazard

...and wow, the last line of the dukes themesong is "fightin the system like modern day robin hoooooods"

Subvert_bassist 10-25-2005 09:00 PM

What is this "Weatherman"? I dunno, but it sounds cool. I'm looking into it now.

TheNowhereman42 10-25-2005 09:01 PM

just check out the trailer, it looks cool, and makes me want to steal my girlfriend's dad's bow

Glitterati 10-25-2005 09:09 PM
What is this "Weatherman"? I dunno, but it sounds cool. I'm looking into it now.
A movie coming out with Nicolas Cage. Who rocks. And if you don't believe me, watch Raising Arizona or The Rock.

Subvert_bassist 10-25-2005 09:17 PM

Eh, Weatherman looks ok. The bow line was funny. I might see it in theaters; more likely, I'll rent it.

I prefer mor random, senseless comedies, like Anchorman, Ace Ventura, and 40 Year Old Virgin. The 40 Year Old Virgin was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.

"How many pots have you smoked? How many times have you gone to the bathroom?"
Great American Country

There's a new radio station around here, 92.9 Bass Country (because we have a lot of lakes for good bass fishing), and it's a "classic country" station and it's all I listen to. It spans from Hank to early (good) Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, etc.

Sorry son, but you're incorrect. Carrot Guy is infact Bananaman's nemesis. Also supporting evil is not punX my friend, Bananaman is.

time bomb 10-26-2005 12:20 AM

dude, there WAS an apple man, and there was that mole-dude, with the drill, who used to make tunnels and try to bust those criminal guys out of gaol all the time...is it all flooding back to you yet?

I really want to see the new Johnny Cash movie, I hope they don't totally butcher his greatness. It sucks they got Reese Witherspoon to be June, she just isn't the type to play her.

StruckEverywhere 10-26-2005 12:27 AM

Well in the new version, made up today, Bananaman is infact a giant banana shaped didlo thing. Whose sidekick is a short bald monk, DUH. Also his nemesis is Carrot Guy, picked solely upon that fact that he too resembles a dildo. And HIS accomplice is ofcourse an ugly canadian rabbit.
