Thank-you so much. My 14X14 isnt in yet :(

maniac0796 08-12-2006 03:03 PM

Anyone else here like either riverdance music, or the band arcturus?

Brokensticks 08-12-2006 03:22 PM

Never heard of either...

Janeway 08-12-2006 03:22 PM

I couldn't find the moth to kill it.

I slept in my parents bed instead. That has got to be the most uncomfortable bed I've ever been in. It's a water bed, but it's really hard and not wavy at all. I just sank against the frame.
Then my damn cat kept getting in bed and crawling all over me, before deciding to go sit at their window and bat the hell out of the blinds.

Brokensticks 08-12-2006 03:37 PM

Aha, I have a water bed, it's awesome, but at the moment the heater isn't working so I'm sleeping in the guest room. I hate moths too, I feel for you.

stylers_new_account 08-12-2006 03:41 PM

stylers back...yay.

trysthedrummer 08-12-2006 04:23 PM

You could have picked a better name :p

Seafroggys 08-12-2006 04:36 PM
Awesome Seafroggys, I wish you'd get the pics up now though. Too bad noone cares that my 10" tom came in. I hope I can pick it up today!
Pics will come after I get my new ride and another crash, then my setup will finally be complete (after over 2 years)....for now ;)

I also just went back to GC and got a Pearl stand for $60 (forgot what model) so I can mount my 14" Agop Trad. I had to take it off to make room for my new 2002.

MatthewMeredith 08-12-2006 05:42 PM

Lime! Leper! I want in on the orgy!

Surprised?

Janeway 08-12-2006 06:02 PM

What the fuck?
I told my mother I wanted an mp3 player, and she's yelling at me to go get a piece of shit 512mb tampon. I don't want a shitty mp3 player. I'm not going to settle for it.

I hate this. They keep asking me what I want over and over, like their going to buy me something big and special. Fuck. There isn't anything I want under $100. I download all of the movies and music I want, I don't want to upgrade anything on my kit, and anything that I can upgrade, is too expensive.

And she's going to the casino now. To blow the money it would cost for the shit I want for my birthday.

to date, I've usually say nothing about anything you gripe about. But I must say, that statement was totally ungrateful.

Sunshine 08-12-2006 06:08 PM

Yeah mans.

What about like..I dunno...clothes or something? A hat? A book even?

Janeway 08-12-2006 06:09 PM

Yeah, I don't care, either.

I'm grateful, but I'm also premenstrual.

And if someobody is thinking of giving me a lecture on what a sorry fuck I am, keep in mind: I don't care.

Sunshine 08-12-2006 06:12 PM

Eh.

I kinda dislike my birthday/Christmas coming around.

All year long I can think of bazillions of things I want, but as soon as that week comes along I can't think of anything but like..Acid Pro or a new iPod [or battery] or something.

Except last year I wanted scarves, so it made everybodys lives a lot easier.

Ethan. 08-12-2006 06:14 PM

I actually like my birthdays... I get free money and stuff.

Thats what you all should doo, ask for money.

Sunshine 08-12-2006 06:17 PM

My parents don't believe in giving money unless it's in the form of a gift card.

They do that sometimes. Like, 3 different $50 cards from 3 different stores for my birthday and actual stuff [books, PJs, maybe a purse or a hat or something] for Christmas.

Ethan. 08-12-2006 06:20 PM

Yeah money isn't a very meaningful gift... but its the most helpful to me because I don't want my parents going out and buying my crash cymbals... I fear a Titanium ZXT and a B8 crash

I hat having to bring back gifts...

fishbulb 08-12-2006 07:38 PM

That's why you go to the store with them, tell them exactly what you want, even show them. When i did that they didn't feel like driving back to the store later, so they bought them right there, but waited until it was my birthday to give them to me.

Seafroggys 08-12-2006 07:46 PM

I always give explicit details on drum gear I want. Usually for b-days and xmas I ask for sticks, heads, and misc stuff because my parents don't like buying big gifts unlike some parents who like spoiling their kids.....

anyway, like when I asked for a clear PS4 for my bass, I told my mom "Okay, I want a Remo Powerstroke 4, 22" and clear. And not a 3, a 4." Just to prevent the store from giving her a PS3.

Aaron 08-12-2006 09:05 PM

you kids, i'm too old for gifts apparently. i get taken out to dinner and am happy with that.

Aw man, i'm never drinking again. Last night i went to the pub with my mate and we had a half dozen beers and then we got a call to go to my mate rowan's appartment. we turned up and he wasn't there and we were told [by the people we were meeting up with] that he was running late. so we broke in and started drinking his beer. we drank it all [2 cases between 4 people]. we decided to go clubbing and were down in the carpark when i got a call from rowan. he was stoned and when i asked where he'd been he said "in my room looking out the window.. hey i can see you". he was in his room the entire time but was so stoned he didn't hear us break in and eat his food and drink his beer for 4 hours. needless to say i drank alot more after that and got home at 4am. eugh.

That's what they say *everytime*

Aaron 08-12-2006 09:14 PM

yeah

Sunshine 08-12-2006 09:15 PM

Y'know, that's what it's slowly turning into for me, I guess.

The younger you are, the more crap you get and the less you appreciate it.

But once your old enough to actually appreciate it and junk, you don't get it anymore.

Ah well.

Janeway 08-12-2006 09:16 PM

I have a huge craving for one of those little cheese wheels that comes wrapped in red wax, but I've never had one in my life...And I don't even like cheese.

The closest thing we have is some parmigiano reggiano my sister bought in Italy.
Hmm...

Sunshine 08-12-2006 09:30 PM

Oh, those Babel cheese things with the cow on them?

I freaking love those.

Panopticon 08-12-2006 09:49 PM
Oh, those Babel cheese things with the cow on them?

They're called babybel, and last i checked they dont have a cow on them but i could be wrong. The ones in a red wrapper and then are covered in red wax. I hate em they're so gross.

And Pespi, Parmagianno Regianno is probably the best cheese ever.

Brokensticks 08-12-2006 09:54 PM

ya but you can roll up the wax and throw it.

Sunshine 08-12-2006 09:54 PM

Yeah, Babybel, whatever.

There is too a cow~ On the tag. Not the actual cheese rounds themselves.

I havn't had one in forever, but they come in yellow wax too.

We_Love_Lime 08-12-2006 09:58 PM

Evey Hammond: Who are you?
V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what, and what I am is a man in a mask.
Evey Hammond: Well I can see that.
V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation, I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.

V for Vendetta was an aweosme move, I didn't get it to finish it because my dad wanted to go on a country western picnic.
Crazy Man.

Sunshine 08-12-2006 10:03 PM

Awww.

I saw the movie in the theater, twas a lovely, lovely movie. I absolutely adore the entire concept.
