Does anyone like The Hollies? I've been hooked on 'em lately. J/W.

Tina Fey sucks
What! Mitch Hedburg overrated, I have nothing to say except that I'm dissappointed.
All I hear about is how hilarious he is, but he just isn't all that great. I don't like his delivery and I don't like how all he does is fire one-liners out there, one after another.

That's Graham Nash's band before CSN(Y) right?

I've heard 1 song by them, but don't remember what it's called. It was pretty good.

Haha, crazy I was just about to ask if any one knows any Hollies songs other then that Long Dark Dressed Women song (I know I killed that name).

Mitch Hedburg has the Pink Sunglasses yes, I have like half of his comedy album and its great.

Yes, Graham Nash was in The Hollies. And the song you heard was probably "Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress", which is a great song.

If her last name was "Lesh" or "Garcia", he would loudly ejaculate all over his keyboard at the very mention of her.

I love Mitch Hedberg. I have a bunch of stuff on my mp3 player, which has caused me to burst out laughing in school sometimes :upset:

George Carlin is my all-time favorite, though.

JonG 10-02-2005 07:24 PM

I'm contemplating whether to get a 20 gig iPod or save for a new amp.

George Carlin is my favorite aswell.

I'm fairly sure that for the price of a 20 gig iPod you could get a 40 gig Creative Zen.

Jacaranda 10-02-2005 07:27 PM

Any one know where I could like download Microsoft Word for free? For whatever reason the one on my computer stopped working and of course I have homework due tomorrow that I need to type up, the one I have now isn't letting me do anything.

Don't get an Ipod they are a rip off.

Walrus Gumboot 10-02-2005 07:27 PM

He speaks the truth:

I have this one

This one costs as much as the 20G ipod

Notice the 24hr battery life

I'm not the Lesh-head of this thread.

I haven't even read his book.
That's Graham Nash's band before CSN(Y) right?
Yeah. They sound sorta like the beatles but (I'll probably get flamed for this) I think they have a much better vocal blend. It's just so relaxing to listen to. My favorites are Bus Stop, The Air That I Breathe, and Carrie-Anne. You should check them out if you haven't heard much of them. If you like the beatles, then you'll probably like these guys.

Probably www.downloads.com

When you bought your computer you definitely would have gotten a disc that you install Microsoft Word with, so you should probably try to find that if you can.

I have an ipod and it's great. It gets fucked up occasionally, but the people at the apple store are cool and repair it for free.

We get so many more posts in this thread when we post useless spam.

Distant Echoes 10-02-2005 07:30 PM

I have a 40GB Creative Zen Touch and its awsome. Its easy to scroll through a ton of songs/artists, but when your close, its hard to pinpoint. Takes alot of practice.

I was at Best buy the day it was released, but cost over $300, so went on Bizrate.com and save about $100 on it. It taken alot of intense falls, and stills works perfectly. Its has a few downers...but Overall with price included, it pwns the Ipod. The Battery life is amazing too. It lasted me a week vacation to the beach, including my cousins listening to it.

Has Journey been mentioned? They were a kick-*** band.

What's their best cd? Or should I buy a greatest hits?

The new ipod is amazing though. My friend's dad is like ceo for Toys 'R Us so my friend gets like everything when it first comes out and he got one of the new ipods. They're so small but can hold so much music. It's awesome.

Jacaranda 10-02-2005 07:32 PM

Ha, I didn't want to go to the Pit and ask cause they are ruthless and also not funny. But the one that came with the computer keeps asking me if I want to buy the full version and its really annoying.

God how many bands did the members of CSN have before they made that super group?
Least Fave: Any gay/lesbian/minority comedians who base their entire act around that

Ahem...Ant. I hate those comedians.

Dane Cook is hilarious, especially his bit about the Kool-Aid guy bursting through his wall.

I know that Graham Nash was in The Hollies, Neil was in Buffalo Springfield with Stephen Stills, and David Crosby was in The Byrds.

Broken Arrow 10-02-2005 07:37 PM

haha, no/

The were just metioned on Family Guy though.

EDIT-In regards to Journey
Ahem...Ant. I hate those comedians.

Dane Cook has his moments, but for the most part he's like Bill Cosby, only he's louder, he swears more, and he does more dumb things if the audience doesn't laugh.

Lunch 10-02-2005 07:39 PM

Basically Stephen Stills played guitar on every record. Ever.

PinkZeppelin27 10-02-2005 07:44 PM
What's their best cd? Or should I buy a greatest hits?
The greatest hits would be a good start. Thats what I got first.

Jom 10-02-2005 07:48 PM

Er, speaking of comedians, can you guys let jpj know one way or another that I have his stand-up routine he requested uploaded, but I don't know where to send it?

Thanks :)
