On Wednesday night my sister texted me and asked me if she could come in town. I told her it's not a good weekend because I have to work a lot then have a work meeting on Sunday afternoon. She said okay and that she'd just see me over Thanksgiving or something. Then Thursday she texted me and was like, "Yeah, my friend Eric and I are going to come anyway."

idk I hear stories about these young men in college who claim they are gonna be a wild bachelor forever and that marriage is for squares then they end up getting a comfortable job and somehow settle down with some boring woman in the suburbs and spit out 2 or 3 kids then get old, face a superannuation payout and then die
