did she work in a customer service/complaints department?

because that would explain it
She worked in technical, fixing peoples broken sky boxes, telelphone lines and broadband.

But anyways.

I live 20 seconds walk away from Newcastle West exchange, so I might just go with the company that has the most connections there.

Also, centrigrade is the best. Ho-hum water freeze at 0 degrees, what a sensible way to measure things.

Crapdragoon 06-22-2010 12:53 AM

perhaps

Why would you want protein bars?

mnemonic 06-22-2010 10:28 AM

better than nothing (or junk food) when i dont want to make food

also, squirrel, why are you so critical of everything anyone ever posts

Squirrel 06-22-2010 10:46 AM

Are you under the impression that eating protein makes you buff or something.

And you'd be better off eating a portion of fruit or veg or something cereal based.

I'm critical of retarded posts.

Bruce E Kinesis 06-22-2010 11:05 AM

no, i know protein doesn't make me buff im not retarded

you just seem to have a pretty big ego is what i mean, assume everyone is stupid, etc (for instance this post you just made)

Squirrel 06-22-2010 11:31 AM

I didn't say everyone was stupid, I said i'm critical of retarded posts. Which is most of them in this thread.

You ignored my post on the last page because I absolutely pwnd you lmao.

Are you into lifting now or something.

didn't see that post, i'll reply to it if it will make you happy

and i was lifting until i moved a few days ago, now i need to find a gym and get a car and license (or find a bus schedule)
I didn't say everyone was stupid, I said i'm critical of retarded posts. Which is most of them in this thread.
as well as plenty of other normal posts in this thread that i dont care enough to look for, you were pretty critical of my post stating my difficulty in finding protein bars at grocery stores (pretty easy in america), and in your later post seem to think that I think that eating protein bars will make me buff or something.

Squirrel 06-22-2010 11:41 AM

Your attempt at a pwn was way off though, man that must be embarrassing.

Wales is dull. Only saving grace is the countryside, though there's better palces for that imo.

And rephrasing my posts like that is pretty retarded.

Bruce E Kinesis 06-22-2010 11:42 AM

Wales is alright in the cities but some of the countryside is srsly ****ing backwards

Blue_Moon 06-22-2010 11:47 AM

can we not all just get along for my bday for the next few hrs?

:)

also france lost and came bottom of their group... :)

mnemonic 06-22-2010 11:47 AM

where did I attempt at pwn. sloppily edited together, but really what i was just trying to write was that you blatantly dismiss a country, so i blatantly dismiss your city, at which point you say your city is a pretty nice place.

i live in the countryside right now, and tbh its leaps and bounds ahead of the countryside where i'm from, which is predominantly dead grass and rattlesnakes.

You come across as a 3rd rate (attempted) Josh clone.

AG 06-22-2010 12:20 PM

Sup squiggs I'm lifting again if you wanna take the piss.

Also, did loads of gardening today. Planted some seeds in propagators too, they're like mini greenhouses. Ace.

Squirrel 06-22-2010 12:27 PM

cool whats your current routine like

AG 06-22-2010 12:41 PM

Started a week ago with something like this;

Mon; EZ Curls, Fly, Deadlifts

Tues; Off

Wed; Dumbell Rows, Benchpress

Thurs; Run

Fri; Deadlifts, Skullcrushers

Sat; Off

Sun; Run.

I've not done any weights in a over a year so the routine needs refining, but it'll do for now. In a couple of weeks I should be able to save the £50 I need for some spotter/catcher bars so I can benchpress/squat properly.

Need to do some squats, they're so good.

If I had space I'd quite enjoy doing a Squat/Deadlift/Clean & Press/Bench rotation but I don't :(

Squirrel 06-22-2010 01:17 PM

Verry weird routine man; mixing compound and isolation movements in odd ways, deadlifts twice a week is a no-no, therese no squats in there, you're doing you back 3 times a week, general odd mix of standard and weaker exercises.

edit: did someone tell you this or did you make it up yourself?

you dont mean those 4 in one workout do you?!

AG 06-22-2010 02:38 PM

Nah, of course not.

Just those four exclusively.

Squirrel 06-22-2010 03:11 PM

I haven't lifted weights properly in a while, i've been sticking to (almost) bodyweight stuff. I say almost cause I do lots of stuff with a backback full of sand on.

I'd quite like to get a dipping station.

Theres a nature reserve a minute from my house with a running route, along the way theres pull up bars and dipping stations. I should really make use of it more.

AG 06-22-2010 03:30 PM

I made the routine up myself, and only because they're my favourite excersices, lol.

Squirrel 06-22-2010 03:45 PM

Needs quite a bit of work on it mate.

scooby1961 from youtube has some nice videos. He suggests spending as much time doing cardio as actually lifting.

@squirrel: so, what's your training plan?

I usually do

-Chest + Shoulders
-Arms + Back
-Legs + Stomach

using free weights as much as possible to improve coordination.

plus a little running here and there (after the exercise), I <3 running
