NP: A Poor man's Memory
I didn't know you were into post-rock. You really need to listen to Earth's new album. They used to be an instru-metal band, but the new one is all inspired by Spaghetti Westerns and stuff, so it's like weird droning soundscapes with slide guitars. I have it on slsk, if you're interested. I'm listening to Califone - Quicksand Cradlesnakes. |

Yeah, that's it. I really enjoy it, which is saying a lot because I have no attention span. I think their older stuff is more like weirdo drone metal, like Sun 0))), and I really have no interest in it. Listening to the new Centro-Matic album, Fort Recovery. |

I'm listening to Califone - Quicksand Cradlesnakes.
I'm into post-rock now, I started checking out a couple bands because of QC, then really got into it. It's perfect to listen to while I do homework so I don't get bored by silence and not distracted by vocal music. I'll check out Earth Still listening to Beach Boys - Pet Sounds NP: Here Today |
I tried listening to Sunn O))), I listened for about 1 minute then flipped through all the songs to see if it was all like that, then turned it off.

I don't like a lot of post-rock; like I said, I have no attention span and it bores me. I really like EITS and Mogwai, though. Word.
I didn't have the attention span before. I still don't really, but I'd never just listen to it, I always do something else while it's playing. Godspeed You! Black Emperor still bores me though. I love Mogwai and EITS as well as Sigur Ros. |
Hate And War - The Clash

I have a Godspeed album I listen to on occasion, but it's kinda tedious, as it's only two tracks, each about thirty minutes long. |
Andre - listen to "Dopesmoker" by Sleep. It's 63 minutes long, but it just whizzes right by.
