Shrooms don't cause any physical harm to the user what so ever, mentally it's debatable, they re-connect neurotransmitters in a certain part of your brain which doesn't necessarily damage the brain, but if excessively abused the possibility of it effecting your mental health does increase. (as with any drug) Drugs are different for everyone.

If used right, I truly believe psychedelic drugs can be a great therapeutic practice.

Weed isn't near as addictive or killed [I]near [/I]as many people as cigarettes or alcohol; I will never understand America's ignorant hate for a near harmless drug.

I agree, for the most part. I've dabbled in psychedelics a few times, and I really enjoy them. But there is a definite risk for problems if you're not careful with them. That being said, a good time can be had with shrooms or acid, some good music, and a few friends to hang out with.

I like High Hopes. It's one of my favorite from the dehydrated Pink Floyd, but as it has been pointed out, it's not so strong lyrically.

They played a bunch of post-Waters Floyd today on the radio, and I realized the lyrics really aren't half bad. They're different than Roger's, obviously, but David does a pretty good job.

He makes me cringe on occasion, but he isn't the worst lyricist in rock.

However, Dave does not handle swearing like Roger did. In [B]Lost For Words[/B], when he sings "But they ask me to please go f[font=verdana]u[/font]ck myself" it really pulls me up short, whereas Roger does it seamlessly in songs like [B]Not Now John[/B].

Ya, definitely. David's true talent is in his music writing.

And Roger has more than one song with cringe-worthy lyrics, also. I'm talking more his solo stuff here, but even in some Floyd songs.

And High Hopes is probably my favourite post-Waters song, but the P.U.L.S.E. version is better. The album one seems a little bland and clinical. The live version is pretty epic

I just dropped a lot of cash to see Roger Waters live in Boston this summer, so part of me wishes it doesn't happen...I'd feel stupid about buying tickets for Waters when I could have held on and waited for the Floyd reunion.
