Hi Brumm, you've got your old avatar back again; didn't you like the other one?
And what does Bob'd mean? If anything - just curious
Bob = Legend
Its faster than what it used to be...like the dude's on speed or something. On my copy of Live Evil it has ''Attention: Home Taping is killing music! Don't do it!''
 I don't think the Burning Man has changed. but hell, who knows. :p |

I've got no idea what Bob'd means :)
Cool. I was annoyed to hear thet Download wae on the telly last weekend and I missed it. Serves me right for watching next to bugger-all TV. Are you going to see Nightwish at the Apollo? |
Hehe, the highlights weren't amazing.
I can't go see Nightwish :( I hear they're already confirmed for Download next year though. |

Missed them at the Astoria in Feb (had to listen to a highly distorted version coming over my brother's mobile) so I'm all excited. Pity you ain't going; we might have been able to meet up. Actually - have you ever met anyone from the forum that you didn't know beforehand? - were they a disappointment? That's the worry I suppose. |
I was s'posed to meet a few people at Download but that failed...next year a group of us are meeting up for drinks and what not.
Where abouts in the country are you? |

Where abouts in the country are you?
10 miles west of Ipswich. I think that's quite a ways from yourself! |
/doesn't know where Ipswich is
/is doing A2 Geography I have a feeling its somewhere far though. Come to Download next year, you could be the er...''responsible adult'' for the lot of us. |
I got my Ozzfest tickets today. I cannot wait until I get to finally see Black Sabbath.
|
/doesn't know where Ipswich is

Come to Download next year, you could be the er...''responsible adult'' for the lot of us.
Ipswich is the county town of Suffolk. If you're near Bristol it's diametrically opposed to where you are. Lowestoft in Suffolk is the most Easterly point of Britain. Would like to do Download next time - don't rely on responsibility from me though, you may have to stop me doing ill-advised things! There may be a gig that we both end up going to before that - you never know. If you find yourself in East Anglia let me know. |
Shall do.
I may be off to London to see Lacuna Coil sometime soon, not too sure though. shaneomac - Nice one  |

I would go there, but I don't think I like any of the other bands (Sabbath is the heaviest band I listen too, unless you consider Maiden heavier) |
Just a quick question, does anyone happen to know what Geezer's rig was during the Black Sabbath/ Paranoid era?
|
Hey shadow_stalker, this might sound kinda dumb but whos in your avatar?
Alexi Laiho |
Ok. This is gonna sound worse. Whos Alexi Laiho?
|
*twitch twitch*
He is the singer and lead guitarist for children of bodom... |
Hey its not like I hadnt heard of him. I just didnt know who he is. Im not a children of bodom fan. Name a song to download and ill have a look though.
|
Needled 24/7 is my favourite.
|
Okay ill get that when i get round to it. What kind of music is it, Rock or Metal?
|
Yeah, Sabbath rule !
I love the old old stuff like Paranoid, War Pigs, Tomorrow's Dream, Iron Man, Sweet Leaf, NIB, Never Say Die etc etc. I also enjoy the Dio era, with Heaven And Hell probably being my favorite Sabbath album. Haven't heard much at all over the past 2 decades or so though. Maybe a little bit of stuff from when Eric Singer was on drums, but not much else. |

Its boarderline power metal.
Nothing special though. |

Hate Me! is probably my favourite. hold on a bit and i'll upload it. ok...here it is. anyone know if sabbath will record another album with ozzy now? |
So.... anyone looking forward to the Live DVD from Download :D
|
i didnt know there was going to be a DVD... just of Sabbath? if it is, i'll get it, or the CD if both are released.
|
Chances of a new cd are slim, Geezer isn't really interested at the moment.
A DVD of the show from Download would be alright I s'pose. |
I almost went into fanboy mode with Bodom. I had a huge post ready with info about them/songs to download. Then I realized that all that guys questions were answered.
Anyway, i'd definitely like a live Sabbath DVD. |
Last supper is preety good, the never say die one has faulty quality
|
But isnt Last Supper the one with the interviews in the middle of songs?
|
Hey sack-man thanks for the download. I really like it, except for the vocals.
