My homecoming is tonight. I am pretty excited but there is always that nervous feeling that you get before. It's at 7:00.

My school doesn't have a homecoming.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW |
My school's homecoming was last weekend. It was kind of a bummer cause a girl I really wanted to go (not neccesarily go with) didn't go. I had an alright time though. We went to Burger King afterwords and stole 50 AOL FREE INTERNET things and we threw them into a truck bed while we were going and other stuff, and almost got in like 20 accidents. punX.
My school's is next weekend. I'm not going.
Sam, did you get yourself a lady to go with?
Mine was a couple weeks ago.

Same.

What's a homecoming ?
You really don't know what homecoming is?
he's british.
It's a school dance, called "homecoming" because it is the first one of the year. |

It's a school dance, called "homecoming" because it is the first one of the year.
Homecoming isn't called that because it's the first dance. It's because that's when the football team is supposdly playing it's first home game after being away all the time, which doesn't make sense half the time, because the team usually isn't playing away games. My school had dances planned before homecoming, all were canceled, but they were planned. |
whatever, football sucks anyway.
I went to homecoming with a really ugly girl once. She had a really nice body, but her face was...ugh.

Yes it does, but that's what high school revolves around. My school was horrible at it, we should've changed our major sport to basketball, since the team was actually good. |
All of the sports teams at my school suck, mostly because they are a bunch of drunken coke heads.
My school is obsessed with sports, espcially football. It's to an insane degree.
My school just won their 100th golf tournament or something like that, so we all got free donuts and apple cider. |
I would play golf.
All my school ever got from sports was ugly cheerleaders and dumb ralleys that I never could skip, except that one time where we all ran for my friends car, went to one guys house and ate fried chicken. That was a good day.
Bleh, i don't get it.
Proper football (soccer) is amazing though. You might not get it, but the passion of it and the support her in England and europe is amazing. |

Girls like that are said to have a "butter face". Everything is nice "butter" face |

I know, but i'm pretty sure it's not the same. |

Although our football team is one of the best in the state, we had the most god-awful cheerleaders. They wer eall ugly, and there were only about 8 of them. They all called it quits this year, so now there's no cheerleaders, thankfully. Pep Rallys are the worst thing. At my school, if you get caught skipping, you get an unexcused absense for all your classes. You can't call and get your parents to excuse you, either. I skipped last year without problem, but this year I got caught with my friends. One of my friends just kept walking, but me and two others turend around. We didn't go in the pep rally, though, we sat outside. It wasn't as good as skipping, but it was so much better than the blistering headache I would've gotten, had I been in the gym. |
I don't know the consequences for skipping the rallys at my school because it was hard to do it, because the teacher watched you as you went to the gym, and then it was like a herd of cattle going in, so going the oppisite way was impossible. But when we skipped we just went out of our class before and bolted for the car which was parked just outside the gate, then took off past the asst. principal.
I was always deaf after rallys, it was horrible. |
All our rallies are out doors and they have secruity at all the exits of the school, but my friends and I end up ditching them by going into the theater/music wing.
The way I skipped last year was walked around upstairs for awhile, until everyon left. We heard some people coming so we hid in the bathroom. A janitor kicked us out, so we walked downstairs, but when we walked downstairs, we noticed that no teacher was guarding the door, so we left through the teacher's parking lot. We went to a local resturaunt and bought some nachos. Good times.
I can only recall 1 pep rally. I was fortunate to get a seat at the top of the bleachers, giving me quite a vantage point for throwing shit.
My school has no football team. It's too small. And this year was the first year we've ever had a pep rally (as far as I can remmeber,) but it took place after school, so it wasn't manditory.
I went to the pep rally freshman year. I knew that after that I wasn't going to any more of things of that sort. Fortunately, by that time the next year, I made some friends who knew how to skip, and were willing to do so.
I've still never skipped a class, though. |
When I was in high school I always had the choice to go to a study hall as an alternative to the pep rally. The study hall always ended up with just me and about 20 of my friends with a few other odd kids alone in the auditorium. Those were the good old days.
Contrary to popular belief, some people in a American DO like soccer and I am one of them! |
I'm in our schools 'soccer' team, we came second this year, after a stupid draw against a crap team.
I'm a sophomore, and in my freshman year we only had 1 pep rally I can remember. I'm guessing there will be another pretty soon, and I'm planning on bringing as much ammo as possible, or finding a way out of it.
If your assemblies are at the end of the day, just skip
