So, we lost the rugby league. Meh, I come from a land down under where women blow and men plunder. Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder.
it was a quality game, though, and they played good enough to deserve it

good rats 10-21-2005 05:06 AM

There's more coming as soon as my other cam-friend posts his pics.

And I'm the guy in blue in the second pic if ya want to know.
Your band plays All-American Reject songs?
Last night we most certainly did.

All of our practices end up turning into "how many ridiculous songs can we ironically cover and destroy?", which is even more fun since we're generally a "folk-punk" band, and because we rarely know the words.
I f'ucking had a well good night yesterday, but boy am i paying for it now. I went to see Captain Everything with my brother and got absolutely smashed. First of all i met the band in the street and had a bit of a chat, then met them in the pub above the venue so had a bit of a drink with them. Then i was up on stage singing with them about 4 seperate time, and got a set list and a drum stick.

I also got a Filaments t-shirt, a CE poster and a couple of patches.

I have already been sick out of my bedroom window and i think i'm gonna have to go again soon :(
I was at that gig too. It was awesome. When I got out I found out my shirt was covered in blood.

Drop The Baby 10-21-2005 09:42 AM

You might have seen me there, i was battered and wearing a blue captain everything t-shirt with a skull and crossbones on the front?

sketchyjoe 10-21-2005 09:48 AM

I think I saw you. I was the guy with the floppy hair and the yellow DK shirt.

Drop The Baby 10-21-2005 09:50 AM

I saw the yellow DKs shirt, i remember pointing it out to my brother.

AIRIC 10-21-2005 01:34 PM

Subvert_bassist 10-21-2005 02:36 PM

AIRIC 10-21-2005 02:37 PM

Subvert what's the address for the forum you mod? Is it any good?

Subvert_bassist 10-21-2005 02:38 PM

If you skateboard, yeah. It's a skateboarding forums:

http://www.ramprage.com

AIRIC 10-21-2005 02:39 PM

I used to. I haven't in a while, and was planning to start again this summer, but I didn't.

Subvert_bassist 10-21-2005 02:42 PM

Haha, I got confused because I couldn't find the thread that I mentioned I was a mod in, until I realized it had been deleted. Waaay confused me.

And, aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh, I really messed up my ankle today. It's all swollen and black. Not good; I can't walk.

Anxious 10-21-2005 02:47 PM

Thats basicly why i stopped skating. Too many injuries.

Brain Toad 10-21-2005 02:51 PM

I've thought about taking up skateboarding just to ease the travel between bus stop and school during the week.

Subvert_bassist 10-21-2005 02:51 PM

Well, when I injured it today, it wasn't due to skating, directly. It's just, I broke my ankle and tore everything inside it skating. The only thing left unbroken was the skin. So now my ankle is extremely weak.

Anxious 10-21-2005 03:11 PM

If you don't limit mobility on it it will hurt for a long time. Maybe even the rest of your life. I'm serious.

albert_bass 10-21-2005 03:16 PM

SKATEBOARDING IS HARD

Anxious 10-21-2005 03:31 PM

skateboarding is hard if you a lynch_me

Brain Toad 10-21-2005 03:32 PM

I tried once when I was a wigger and was horrible, so I may not try again, but it'd be helpful. Walking 2 miles every day isn't very fun.

Anxious 10-21-2005 03:33 PM

and yet it is.

Culture Shock 10-21-2005 03:44 PM
I tried once when I was a wigger and was horrible, so I may not try again, but it'd be helpful. Walking 2 miles every day isn't very fun.
Haha, a wigger? How long ago was this?

I started skating in '99 and that's when I got into NOFX, Rancid, and Pennywise and all that. I quit a few years later because I realized scooters were more rad.

Anxious 10-21-2005 03:46 PM

I love my razor scooter.

Nerdcore753 10-21-2005 03:51 PM

I don't have good balance so I sucked at skateboearding/scooters/bikes/etc.

Anxious 10-21-2005 03:52 PM

Scooters are fucking awesome though. I used to jump mine like no other.

Excursions 10-21-2005 03:57 PM

I want to get a longboard but I haven't skated for the longest time.

Anxious 10-21-2005 04:17 PM

Longboards are wrongboards

AIRIC 10-21-2005 04:18 PM

Scooters ruled back in the summer of 02.

AIRIC 10-21-2005 04:33 PM

Anxious 10-21-2005 04:36 PM
