I really haven't had time to practice metal as of late. My advanced rock group has a crap load of songs that I have to memorize and it's all pop not rock (except for the occasional AC/DC that I can bring in :) ) It's really lame. I've also been trying to write some of my own stuff. I posted some ideas of mine in the slayer thread if you want to check them out. |
Five Magics and Tornado for the win.
123 Five magics has got to be My fave off of RIP |

Just reading that site, what does this:
...when Marty Friedman was auditioned to join Megadeth, he studied the songs from their first three albums, and nothing from the new stuff because they were afraid that if he didnt't make it, he would steal all their ideas.
Mean? |
Just reading that site, what does this:
Mean?
well that means(im guessing) that they were making there new album and that if he play some of there album they were making and he liked it, he could easily steal there stuff (sorry if i diddent answer it right) |

I never bought the Remasters, I just have the all the orginals
It's an extra track on Youthanasia.(remastered) Pretty good instrumental, is like an extended version of the trust accoustic line, and like a 100 times better. |

Thankfully, I imported an original Rust In Peace before the remasters were released.

Thanx. I've been in kind of a slump as to how I should bridge the intro with the main riff. I have a couple ideas, but are kinda mediocre. I've been working on some other cool stuff as well.
Thankfully, I imported an original Rust In Peace before the remasters were released.
I think that I ended up with a remastered version. I got it for free from a guy I used to know. I'm not really complaining though. After all it's still Megadeth. |

Yeah, the remastered RIP totally wrecks Five Magics. |

Pretty much. The earlier ones were very hard to find though. SFSGSW kind of needed the remastering I suppose. |

i agree, but there first albums needed remastering cause it was a bit bad quality |
KIMB still needs remastering, the previous one didn't make it that much better.

Rust In Peace didn't even have a local distribution here in Australia. I can see why he would want to remaster them, but a complete remixing like he did was unecessary. |

I read that he had to redo Risk because when he originally did it, some @$$hole producer cut out daves redid guitar parts and redid them.
I haven't heard the album but from the feedback that I get on it, sounds like it was true. |
