More power to ya. I really liked certain aspects of it, but it didn't do much for me overall. It just seemed decidedly pretty good, and never reached any kind of greatness, both artistically and in terms of enjoyment.

Also, as far as Abigail Breslin's much-lauded performance goes...Ivana Baquero's performance in Pan's Labyrinth easily tops it. And I'm not downing Breslin, she did a perfectly fine job with her role, but Baquero pulled in a great performance and I feel she deserves more attention for it.

The uniform was probably the coolest thing about going to private school.

Oh, no, I don't think she deserved that oscar nomination either. It's just the "aww, a kid that acted decently, let's nominate her" thing. I haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth yet, though, I don't think it's out yet.

If you see The Departed, I hope you'll enjoy Nicholson's performance, he deserved that nomination a lot more than Wahlberg wtfs.

Pan's Lab sounds really fruity, I'd rather see Children of Men.

Uniforms suck, but dress codes are cool. Wearing a tie to school everyday is cool, imo. I feel better if I wear matching clothes and stuff everyday, even though it's a bit stupid and trivial.

My school has no dress code or uniforms, and I'd feal cheated if it were any different.
